Merlin, survived Vincent by almost a year, he clung on to life
as hard as he could to comfort me and reached the grand old age of
nineteen. Right up until the end he was still doing eight, nine
miles a day, albeit it took all day!
A great character, he is still so fondly remembered by all who
knew him.
