Custom work of individual dogs, logos and special creations are her forte. This year Pat Helmbold introduced several new designs including: The ‘Purple Puppy,’ ‘Born to be Wild on a motorcycle, ‘A Home is not a Home without a Berner,’ and Rosti pulling a cart. Numerous designs from previous Specialties are available by special order. Each design created by Pat is unique, capturing the personality of the dog and strikingly lifelike. Pat works from photos and drawings from individuals and works with several artists. Although specializing in Bernese Mountain Dogs, she has designs for many other breeds and also has many commercial designs available. Prices of her products range from $ 15 to $ 20 for simpler designs, to several hundred dollars, depending upon the complexity of the design and the medium to be embroidered. Custom work is by quotation, depending on design time and number of stitched in the design. Special orders are always welcome and receive prompt attention. I bought the “Born to be Wild” on a motorcycle shirt for my daughter-in-law this year and it was a big hit with my son and her!
