The pilot of the gun-toting Gundam
Heavyarms, the boy who calls himself
Trowa is the most mysterious of the
Gundam pilots. Calm, cool, and
detached, he seldom speaks and never
smiles. Trowa falls in with a travelling
circus troupe as cover for his terrorist
mission, finding employment as the
world's most dispassionate clown.
Trowa is a gifted and fearless acrobat,
and these abilities also prove useful in
his alternate occupation as a Gundam
pilot.
Despite his youth, Trowa is an
experienced professional soldier. His
preferred combat tactic is to stand his
ground and spray the battlefield with
an endless hail of bullets, though every
now and then he'll dispatch an enemy
with his acrobatic trademark move - a
mid-air triple spin, ending in a deadly
knife slash.
Endless Waltz
Still touring the world with his
traveling circus, as Endless Waltz
begins this former guerilla warrior is
content with his new life as an
acrobatic clown. However, when the
circus visits the space colony
X-18999, Trowa's path once again
crosses that of the Barton Foundation,
and he is drawn into the gathering
conflict. As he did in the war against
OZ, Trowa infiltrates the enemy army
to foil their evil schemes from within.
Secret History
Many mysteries of Trowa's past are
revealed in Endless Waltz, including
the origins of his borrowed name.
Orphaned in infancy, he was raised by
a mercenary troop, and by age 10 this
nameless boy was already a skilled
mobile suit pilot. On the eve of
Operation Meteor, he witnessed the
murder of the real Trowa Barton by
one of Doktor S's assistants, and
volunteered to take the dead man's
name and pilot the Gundam
Heavyarms in his stead.
