Chapter 3: The New Group

Syaoran awoke and saw a pretty girl with hazel colored hair, a long white dress that the skirt fell all the way down to her ankles, and a pair of emeralds staring at him with tears falling down her face. "Sakura!" Syaoran yelled with happiness flowing into his eyes and he ran to the bars and held Sakura's hands. "What happened to you?" he asked. 

"I-I-I have bad news." Sakura said with tears filling her eyes. 

"What is it? What's wrong?" Syaoran said with pain in his heart as she cried. 

"Eriol wants me to marry him." Sakura said with embarrassment in her voice. 

"NANI?!" Syaoran yelled in despair. 

"I'm going to do it!" Sakura said. 

"Doshite?!" Syaoran yelled. 

"He said if I don't do it he'll hurt you! I have to do it or he'll hurt you three! I'm sorry, but I have to!" she said and ran off. 

"Sakura! KUSO!" he yelled out as it echoed through the cell and around the dungeon, and his yell awoke Tomoyo and Kero. 

"Mmmmmm what happened, why are you screaming?" Kero said confused and half asleep. 

"Sakura is getting married" he said solemnly with tears flushing his eyes. 

"EEEEEHHHH?!"  Kero screamed. "Why is she getting married?!" Tomoyo yelled. "Eriol said he'll hurt us if she doesn't." he said. "Demo" Tomoyo said as she fell to her knees and started crying, and covered her face with her hands. "We have to get out of here and save Sakura!" Kero said. "Hmm?" Kero said with a smile spreading across his face.
"What are you smiling about, huh?" Syaoran said with confused voice and glittering eyes with tears in them staring at Kero. 

"I just might fit through the bars." He said as he slipped through the bars of the cell.

"Waaaaahh!" Tomoyo said with excitement and impressment in her eyes and a smile spreading across her face. 

"I'll transform and when I knock them out and take the keys, that's when you guys run and find Sakura and I'll take care of the enemies in the back, got it?" he said with an evil smile taking over his face. Kero slipped through the bars, transformed, and knocked out the look-out soldiers and grabbed the keys. Kero threw the keys to Syaoran and he opened the door. The two of them stepped out of the cell. 

"Go now!" Cerberus yelled. They ran up the steps as Cerberus attacked the soldiers at the back. When they got to the top they ended up in a gigantic hall with "Sakura!" they yelled. Sakura smiled with tears flooding her eyes. She tried to run and hug them but Eriol grabbed her arm, pulled her against his chest and put his arm around her. 

"Let her go, Eriol!" Syaoran said as his sword appeared in his hand and he ran towards him and swung his sword. Eriol jumped back and smiled. "Let her go, you bastard!" Syaoran said as his eyes burned with anger. He struck again, missed. 

"Hu. You think you can defeat me that way? I think not!" Eriol said as kept dodging Li's attacks. Tomoyo noticed that her hand was shining. A key had appeared in her hand and she suddenly chanted some words: "Oh key that holds the future I call on your power now. RELEASE!" and a staff with an hourglass design in the middle of the staff. 

"Tomoyo!" Sakura said in surprise. 

"Tomoyo! Get Meilin, Ryuji, and Ryo here with the staff!" Kero yelled. "Right!" and nodded her head. She closed her eyes and began chanting: 

Oh staff I command you to bring Meilin, Ryuji, And Ryo to this place, NOW!" a portal appeared in front of her and the three stepped out of it. "Sakura!" they called. Then their hands glowed. The two boys had a sword appear out of their hand. 

And Meilin had a key, then she chanted: Oh thy key of light and dark I call for your apprenticeship now. RELEASE!" and a staff appeared out of her hand with a design of half a sun and half of a moon. "Meilin, guys!" Sakura said as she cried even more. 

"Guards! Take Sakura to the room!" Eriol said as he handed her to the guards and released his sword. They took her away through a door which was closing slowly. 

"Tomoyo, Meilin get Sakura! Ryuji, Ryo help me here!" Li said as he crossed swords with Eriol. 

"Let's go!" the girls said. And ran for the door. They felt something in their pockets as they were running. They picked a pack of cards with their names on it. "These are our cards, let's use them!" Meilin said. 

"Agata!" Tomoyo said. "Soar!" Tomoyo said as she raised her staff and released a card and a pair of wings glistened as they appeared out of her back. 

"Quick!" Meilin said and her shoes sprouted a pair of wings. They ran (and in Tomoyo's case flying) until they reached a room with elegant lace trim hung all over the top of the ceiling and white chairs with rose petals covered on them. There was a bed, it was covered in petals, too. 

"What is this place?" Tomoyo asked as she looked around with amazement. "This must be the room that they would sleep in when they get married." Meilin said. Tomoyo glared at her in a displeased way.  

"I-I mean if they were getting married in the first place..hehehe..." Meilin said as she was making more excuses for Tomoyo to forgive her. "Sakura!" Tomoyo said as the guards put her to sleep and laid her on the bed. Then they came to Tomoyo and Meilin and started to attack. 

"Flame!" Tomoyo said and released a card that burned the soldiers and they disappeared. "Aaaahhhh"  Then the two of them fainted along each side of the bed and their heads laid there in peace. Meanwhile...

"Agh!" Ryuji said as he was pushed against the wall and he fainted. "Ryuji!, why you!" Ryo said as he swung his sword at Eriol. "Aaaaahhhh!" Ryo yelled as he hit the altar. 

"No!" Li said. 

"Looks like it's just you and me." Eriol said and smiled before he attacked. 

"You'll pay!" Li said and swung his sword at him and cut a part of his cloak off. "Hmm, you're not as slow as you look" he said, examining the cut part of his cloak. "Wait!" Li thought. "His eyes, their red! He's being controlled!" Li said and saw the source. It was his ambulate! "I HAVE to destroy that ambulate!" he thought. "I'm coming for you!" Li said and kept on attacking as Eriol dodged all of the attacks. "I need to figure out how to catch him off guard. I know!" Li whispered and smiled. He closed his eyes and stood still. 

"Fool!" Eriol lunged an attack at him and then Li vanished before the attack struck him. "Haaaaaaahhhhh!" Li lunged an attack that hit the ambulate when Eriol turned around, it dropped on the floor and Li smashed it with his sword. "Huh?" Eriol looked around and asked "What's the occasion?" and he smiled. Li looked at his eyes, they were brown! "What happened here?" Eriol said with a look of confusion. 

"Nothing." Li said as he looked at him. Eriol stepped up to Ryuji and Ryo and his hand glowed. The two boys woke up and they took out their swords again and prepared to attack. "STOP!" Li said and stepped forward in front of him. 

"What are you doing Li?! You're siding with the enemy?!" Ryuji said. 

"He was being controlled!" Li said as he pointed at the destroyed ambulate that Eriol had worn. "Now let's go find Sakura and the others! You should come, too!" and the four of them ran to the door and Eriol opened it. The four boys ran through the door and went to the room when they saw the three girls sleeping. Tomoyo and Meilin woke up when they came in but Sakura was fast asleep. So Li carried Sakura out of the room and noticed that Eriol was looking at Sakura as she slept peacefully. He smiled a nervous smile as if he was worried about something. He was worried about Sakura. He looked as if his heart was being torn apart, he was in love with Sakura. "Maybe that ambulate gave him more strength to do what he wanted to do the most." Li thought. As they walked home a dark figure stared at them and said "It is not over yet..."
