In Clow Reeds house, Clow Reed walks out of a room with tears in his eyes. Two people walk to him, one a boy about 19 years old with long black hair. And girl about 22 also with long, black hair.
Chris: Dad is she...? (Clow nods. The two cry.)
Clow: Christopher, Michelle you two are the oldest. I’m going to need your help keeping everything together. You know how Keroberos eats when he’s depressed. Eats 3 times his own body weight.
In the living room.........
Yue, Kero, Peter, Lex, (both similar looking to the start of the story, but both have short ponytails).Are sitting/standing looking nervous. Three other girls are with them, one is very good looking with long blonde hair (Chloe) 17 years old. Another blonde girl, 11 years old with shorter hair (Faith). The last girl is 14 with short black hair (Joy). All of them are fighting tears.
Joy: If Dad is the worlds most powerful magician he won’t let Mom die
Chloe: Some things even Dad can’t change (The other 3 walk in)
All: How is she?
Lex: She’s dead isn’t she?
Michelle: Alex I swear, sometimes you can read minds
Peter: So you just sat down and let her die! I refuse to believe you created the Cards and two Guardians, but you can’t cure smallpox! (He storms out followed by Lex)
Chloe: Don’t worry dad. If anyone can sort him out, its Lex
That night.....
Peter and Lex sneak up to the room where their mother is laying. They fiddle with the door.
Peter: Darn, he probably used the Lock card
Lex: Oh well, we should leave now (Starts to walk off, but Peter pulls him back)
Peter: Relax, I have an ace up my sleeve, (Leans close to door) Alumus.
Door unlocks, Lex opens it.
Peter: You know, we should save this moment. This could be the only time you ever break a rule.
Lex: Pete! We are sneaking in to see our dead mother!
Peter: I know, but its you!
They walk inside, laying on a bed is a tall women with blonde hair down to her waist.
Peter: She looks so peaceful, so-so-so. Mom
A small flash lights the room, Peter suddenly faints. Clow storms in.
Clow: Peter, Alexander! What are you two doing!
Lex: (Very softly) Sorry Dad
He faints too.
CHAPTER 5
Peter and Lex are laying on their beds both clearly in pain.
Chloe: Dad that's not what Mom had. I sense a force behind this. It eating away their magic.
Clow: Maybe I can restore it, take everyone outside. Don’t come back till I say so.
She leaves, Clow releases his staff. The Cards rise and circle him.
Clow: I know this is asking allot, but if you can do it Alex and Peter may live. I want you to give a small piece of your power to them. Please (They glow strongly) Thank you
He walks into the room. The cards all glow and shoot a beam of light at the two.
Owens voice: Thank you Clow, these 2 will be an excellent additions to my group. Awaken boys
Lex and Peter stand up their eyes glowing.
Peter: So long, thanks for the gift (He disappears, Clow looks sadly at Lex)
Lex: Someday we’ll set this right (He disappears to)
