Chapter 2

The Transformer

Sakura and Tori had no idea how that happened but he told her to stay in. She went to her room.

Kero "Put him to sleep. If you want to find him."

Sakura "That's not a bad idea, but let me check on him. I don't want him to find out that I'm looking for Li."

She went to Tori's room. He was listening to his cd's. She puts him to sleep and goes outside.

Sakura "Man it's dark FLY!"

Kero is next to her "You do really care for him. Don't cha?"

Sakura "Why do you bother to ask?" ~ Why am I doing this? Why do people ask me these questions? Do they really think I even like him? Hell no. ~

Sakura "He's only a friend."

Kero "There!" He yells and dives down.

Sakura "Hey! What happened?"

Li couldn't talk. Kero checks for his pulse.

Kero "It's slow I need to go into the forest."

Sakura "No wait!  Take him to my dad he'll handle it pretty quickly."

Kero went next to Li and Sakura helped him to Kero's back.

Sakura "Huh?"

She said quietly looking at the bushes.

Kero "Something wrong Sakura?"

Sakura "No."

She looks back to make sure nothing was there.

Sakura's house

Adien Avalon "Ok Your friend will recover in a few weeks. It's just how he got into paralysis is my question."

Sakura's dad says.

Sakura "I think a bolt of lightning must have hit one of the cables in that abandoned street and must have fallen on him from last night."

Adien Avalon "Maybe. Well Sakura I'm going to Europe to do research So

I'll be gone for a few weeks. Ok? "

He leaves.

Sakura "I can wait that long. What if Kagi comes here to kill him when I'm away?  That's it I'm using my master staff Release!" 

She calls out the shield so no one can see her magic and brings the top of her staff down in front of Li's body and a glow surrounded his body. A silver-ish ball of energy floated on her right hand and turned into a small metal ball. Sakura makes it go into Li's heart and makes him float back on to the bed.

Sakura "This will always heal him whenever he gets hurt."    

Next morning

Li wakes up and sees Sakura on a tree.

Li "Sakura! Why are you over there?"

Sakura "No reason I was just waiting for you to wake up that's all Any way do you want breakfast?"

Li "Sure."

Sakura "Tori and dad isn't home so you can have anything you want. Just name it."

Li "I'll try your pancakes. I heard that you're good in making them."

Sakura "Ok. Just meet me in the kitchen." She disappears in mist. Li does the same.  

Down stairs

Li "How did you learn to do the vanishing act?"

Sakura "Read your mind."

Li "Wha?"

Sakura "Yeah it's true. Here are your pancakes."

Li "How bout you?"

Sakura "I'll make it."

Li "Oh yeah tell me How are you still able to keep the master staff?"

Sakura "Of course. Yue and Keroberus left some of their magic in there to help me, just in case something evil comes our way You can watch TV if you want."

She leaves the room.                         

A few minutes later

Li was watching Dragon ball Z on TV * I wonder what Sakura is doing. *

Kero "Hey kid. Can I talk to you?"

Li "Sure. What is it?"

Kero "It's something about Sakura."

Li turns the TV off.

Li "What happened?"

Kero "Doesn't Sakura feel different lately?"

Li "What do you mean by that Keroberus?"

Kero "I'm not exactly sure, but I'm worried, because she hasn't been herself.

After her disappearance she would leave the house and not come back until it was morning. Then after a few months something always happened at night. She would leave the house without saying anything."

Li "Were you able to find out what has been really going on?"

Keroberus "No, but somehow she noticed that I would try and investigate this.

She would use the shield card and keep me in the house no matter how hard I try to escape." Li "Would you like me to investigate this?"

Kero "I don't think you would have much luck a I would. But don't say a word about what I said and keep your cool."         

In the park

A sword hits a tree.

Li "You are doing better."

He strikes again. Sakura jumps into the air and shots at him. Li just jumps away and reflects the extra blast at her. Sakura makes it disappear.

Li "Work on your aim not what attack you want to use because you know what to use anyway."

Li stops and Sakura falls back down on her feet.

Li "Come on let's work on your aim."

Lightning hits three-dozen cans down.

Li "Now you try."

Sakura lets a white blast out of her staff some hits, some misses.

Li "Don't just attack. Aim." 

She tries again and three-dozen cans were knocked down.

Li "Better. Now try hitting moving targets."

He throws a stick up in the air and a blast fried it. Then three-Four. And so on. A dagger was heading for Sakura. Li made it disappear with his lightning attack.

A shadow came up to them "I was sent by Kagi Lets have a match," Henko said he took off into the woods.

Sakura "Stay here until I need you."

Sakura said and ran after him. The woods became pitch black when she got in, so she used the light card. As everything became bright, something slashed her in the back and blood came out, she turned back and saw nothing. Then when she went forward a fast figure went past her and went towards her, she used the jump to get on the tree. Sakura saw the figure again and ran after it. It dashed on the tree and she used the sword to cut it down. She saw a lion jumped out and bit her left arm she stabbed the lions arm and it backed away from her.

Henko "Now I'll destroy you and the warrior."

Henko started turning into a dragon. While that was happening Sakura remembered the last time she did fighting a dragon. But she wants to do it a different way. So she got out the fly card and uses it. Madison was going to Sakura's house and saw what was happening and started videotaping.  Li joins the fighting. The dragon sees Li and breathes out fire at him, but Li used his sword and goes on the dragon. She withdraws the sword card and uses it to attack and dodge the fire to distract the dragon but was hit terribly towards the woods. A piece of a tree branch was pierced thru her left arm. Sakura sliced the branch and cuts his eye. He grabs her throw's her at the ground; the thicker part of the branch was pushed in more. Henko gets all his power together. Sakura was just lying there. Li used his sword to block the fire and stabbed him on the head with the point out of the opposite side and fell down. Henko disappears into his own dark robes he had on. She returns the shield she goes down to her knees and fell to her side laying down very tired with blood all over her and the branch was an inch thick. Li cuts the branch off her.

Madison "Oh No! Sakura!"

Madison comes out of the slide and said she'll help carry Sakura to the hospital. She was unconscious, tired and, bleeding quickly.
