Sakura is the mistress of the clow cards clouds. When she accidentally sett the clow cards free from the book of the clow she found in her fathers study it became her mission to collect the cards so that they can once again return to there place in there place in the book and stop there attacks on the world.
Eriol comes to her in the series in hopes that Sakura could split his power in two with the other half of the reincarnation of clow reed. Since she doesn't have enough power he helps her charge the clow cards and make them sakura cards by attacking her with monsters such as killer toys and forcing her to use the clow cards charging them there by charging them.
Sakura is very nice to people and has plenty of friends. Her best friend Tomoyo is one of the only people without magical powers to know about the clow. She is the one who designs all of Sakura's outfits and just loves to tape her 24/7. They are friends threw out the series and are often seen together in many pictures.
