Pop Culture
The text Glorious Dawn by Dorothy Garlock connects frequently with pop culture. Through pop culture, anything that society has deemed popular, she creates appeal for her book. She uses one of the most popular parts of pop culture, the reproduction process, to her advantage. Along with that, this author includes another popular culture, money. Dorothy Garlock also draws attention to her book with music. With the reproduction process, money, and music, Dorothy Garlock connects her book Glorious Dawn with pop culture to allure people to it.
For the longest time the reproduction process has been a popular part of pop culture. The idea of the reproduction process is expressed a few times in Glorious Dawn. The author, Dorothy Garlock, uses this part of pop culture quite easily. She writes it out. The author uses every description imaginable to further engross the reader, and because society has deemed this, the reproduction process, popular, the reader will read on. The reproduction process is deemed a qualified part of pop culture because it seems that everyone is doing it. The media has also heightened its popularity with brutal promotion. The reproduction process has become popular because of the good feelings it gives off. Dorothy Garlock uses this part of pop culture to her advantage, by giving what is wanted.
Ever since money has been around, it has been popular. Because of the human natural sense of greed, money has been made popular quite easily and efficiently. Dorothy Garlock uses this to help her. She realizes that money draws people in. Therefore, she takes what she can and creates a character that is filled with money in her book. The circumstances of this character will catch the attention of people and draw them in. Just as money is popular in the real world, Dorothy Garlock has made it popular in her book. She sees the connections and uses them to help her.
All through time, one thing has continued to interest people, either for enjoyment or other reasons. Music is this thing. Through the generations, music has always been a form of entertainment that people thrive on. It has been made a part of pop culture because of its wide range of interest. Though the style has changed, the overall thing has not. It is still music, and Dorothy Garlock shares this view. She touches upon it in Glorious Dawn through one of the characters. Since music is popular, she takes music and incorporates it into one character. Hence, when the character has been introduced to the reader, it will most likely interest the reader and bring them to find interest in the book. The interest is brought on by pop culture, the culture of what society finds popular.
Because of pop culture, Dorothy Garlock has been able to add appeal to her book. She enhances the text with the idea of the reproduction process because it is found to be a part of pop culture. Money also plays a part in her book. In addition, she connects one of her characters with music, a form of pop culture. Through and through, this author connects what is deemed popular, pop culture, with her book to enhance it and gather more readers.
