1. Take a Screen Shot of anything in Dark Ages by pressing F12. Or you can draw yer own pic from scratch and skip to #3.

2. Open the screen capture, located in your Dark Ages folder wherever you installed it on your hard drive. (ex. C/downloads/Darkages/)

3. Using a graphics program (ex. Photoshop) crop the area you would like to use for your portrait. It must be roughly 50 pixels wide by 60 pixels tall.

4. Save your image as a bmp file. It also must be 256 colors. You can do this by going to Image - Mode - Indexed color.

5. Open Face Maker and select "import". Browse to where you saved the picture and open it.

6. Click "Save" and save your picture into the folder with the name of your character, this is located in your Dark Ages folder.
