Operation One: Where's the Doctor?

When Akudo, son of the "big-shot indutsrialist" Nikura gets himself ina bad accident, Black Jack is called in. After a quick examination, Black Jack confirms that another body is needed to replace the damaged parts (that includes lungs, intestines, pretty much everything). Where will Nikura get these spare parts? Why, he will accuse an innocent bystander of killing his son, of course! With all of his connections in the "business world" a young man by the name of Davy is quickly sentenced to death. Black Jack tirelessly carries out the operation. Wait a second, would Black Jack really go along with such a hideous scandal? Nope! When "Akudo" recovers from the operation, we discover that the real Akudo is dead and Black Jack just did plastic surgery on Davy's face to make him look like Akudo! Davy is quickly reunited with his mother, exclaiming "That doctor must be an angel."

Operation Two: The Face in the Affliction

The face affliction: a hideous condition that makes a face grow the victim's body, usually on the knee cap or stomach. If the victim tries to remove it, it grows back! Until now Black Jack believed that to be only a story. But then one day a stranger with his face wrapped in bandages appears at his door. "Have you ever heard of the "face affliction?"he asks. the man takes off his bandages to reveal a hideously malformed face. He insists that it is the face affliction... growing over his face! Black Jack soon discovers that it has a personality of it's own, claiming that an operation would be useless. Black Jack operates anyway, only to discover that the face was right. In a matter of minutes the face affliction is back, and Black Jack determines that this man's problem nust be in his psyche. Black Jack shoots the man, fixes that gunshot wound, and operates on his face again. This time, the face gone for good. Well, okay, only until that night. When Black Jack goes to pick up his fee, the man tries to kill him! This man is actually a local serial killer who has already killed 18 times! Before the man can do any damage, the face comes back, and in horror and rage the man accidentally steps off a cliff, falling to his death. Before he dies, Black Jack speaks to the face, and he discovers that the man never killed when he was around, and that after Black Jack operated the man's urge to kill returned. "Perhaps that was the face of his conscience?"
