Hiei (pronounced hE-A) is my all time fav. character off
of Yu Yu Hakusho;
He looks cool, has cool moves, and is/was evil. Kinda like Vegeta
of DBZ.

Hiei used to be one of the Three Demons who hold the Artifacts
of Evil.
Yusuke met Hiei and the other two demons because he was on a "Spirit
Detective" case.
Hiei holds the "Shadow Sword", an Artifact of Evil, it turns anyone
it strikes
into the lowest level of demon; a dumb, but strong demon.
Hiei strikes Kayko, Yusuke's girlfriend, and uses her a bait to
get the other artifacts from Yusuke.
