The wood card is a gentle forest spirit which Sakura found as a card in her house. It happened in episode 4, when Sakura was spring cleaning. She found both the Rain and the Wood card in her house. She's often not seen without the rain card and Rain can be used to increase the power and potency of Wood's nature magic.

Wood, when summoned has the ability to create vines, foliage and roots. Sakura often uses it to bind and restrain other cards.
