Jimmy was thrown into the cell first and everyone else was thrown in after. The clubbas then marched off. Jimmy slowly got up and shook his head. "Ugh, I guess even a beautiful rose has its thorns."

"She's more like a cactus! Or a patch of poison ivy!" Bombette complained.

"There seems to be someone missing." Kooper commented. "Where's Bow?"

"Bow's not here? We might have a chance!" Jimmy said and looked around. "Oh man! Boos!"

The boos were floating around in the prison, depressed. They tried to float through but they got electrocuted. They fell down and sulked about. "...We'll never be able to escape..."

"Don't worry!" Jimmy said to them and they looked at him. "They didn't capture Bow so we still have a chance."

All of a sudden, another clubba burst through the door. "In ya go!" He shouted as he heaved Bow into the cell. "We can see through transparency!"

"Wait a minute!" Goombario realized. "Clubbas are part of Bowser's troops! That means that the Fairy Queen is working for Bowser!"

"Actually she isn't..." Someone from the far corner replied sadly.

"Who are you?" Jimmy asked.

"I'm a fairy, one of Selena's most trusted advisors. My name is Biew Tee, and I was imprisoned here after Bowser's troops took over." Biew said.

"What's up with the queen?" Bombette asked.

"I'm surprised you didn't notice the strings attached to her majesty's limbs. She is now but a puppet that Bowser's minion has twisted. The queen you see is being controlled." Biew said.

"That's it!" Jimmy realized, clapping his hands. "That's why I couldn't be diplomatic with her! She had this creepy empty feeling that she gave me. Her eyes were also cold and empty."

"That means that we'll gave to battle her!" Bow smirked. "Ooh I can't wait to smack that face for doing throwing us and every Boo in here."

"Is that you, my lady?" Bootler asked. "I can't see very well anymore."

"Oh Bootler! I'm sorry for running away!" Bow apologized. "I just couldn't stand being waited on hand and foot anymore, I want to go off on my own."

"Oh Bow...you don't want to stay at the Boo Mansion anymore?" Bootler asked. "Why is that?"

"I just feel like I need to be challenged..." Bow replied solemnly. "I'll have to leave now that Bowser has Princess Toadstool and Mario."

"...This is kind of like back home when the Koopas were enslaved." Kooper darkly mumbled. "...Jimmy? Can you get us out of here?"

"Leave it to me! I just need to get some sleep, I feel kind of tired." Jimmy yawned and then laid down on the cot. Within minutes he started snoring soft and peaceful.

"He's never scared of anything..." Goombario mumbled while looking at the sleeping Jimmy. "He's such a brave guy. I wonder if...I could ever be as brave as him?"

"...Goombario." Bow floated up to him and Goombario sat down, leaning against the cot. She turned to him and asked. "What...what's with you?"

"Huh?"

"You don't seem like your usual annoying, yak yak yak self...you seem a lot more mature." Bow commented. "How come?"

"I have to protect him. The stars told me so." Goombario replied. "He also needs guidence...and someone to tell him when he's doing something stupid...and when he's doing something smart."

"You're a very kind person, you know...and lately you've been really responsible" Bow remarked sincerely. "Are you sure you're experienced enough to take on the task? How old is Jimmy anyway?"

"Fifteen." Goombario replied.

"Then you should have a lot of trouble in the future." Bow replied. "You aren't even a year older than him if older at all."

"That doesn't matter!" Goombario replied. "I can handle it!"

"Sure, Mr. Look what I can do, Mario!" Bow remarked skeptically. "...Don't worry though, because I'll help you out...if you need it."

Everyone else went to sleep for a nap. By the end of the nap, Jimmy jumped up and tripped over Goombario and fell on his face. Goombario fell over and got a nasty bruise from it. "Jimmy!" He cried as he ran over to him. "Are you hurt?!"

Jimmy got up and groaned. "Do you have some liniment you can put on my pride? I think I broke it. Goombario! Did I trip over you? Let's see if I hurt anything..."

"Don't worry about it. It's just a scratch." Goombario replied. "How are we gonna get out of here though. You said you had a plan."

"Well, I sort of do!" Jimmy nodded as he took out his feather from his hair. "Let's see what this feather can do...I hope this works. Drakonite Feather! Transform into a key that fits in this lock!" Jimmy chanted as he closed his eyes and the feather floated up. He and the feather started to glow a white and the magic flowed into the pure white comb. The comb then changed into the key. "Oh wow! It worked!" He ran to the door and stuck his arm around and entered the lock with the key, with a twist of the wrist, the lock fell to the ground and Jimmy opened the door. "Come on out! Everyone!"

Everyone ran out the door and Kooper, Bombette, Bow and Goombario all walked up to Jimmy. He smirked and nodded. "Now let's get ready to fight! We've been well rested so we should be ready to kick some butt!" Jimmy lead the way and they encountered two Clubbas. "Power Jump!" Jimmy shouted as he leapt into the air and came down on the Clubba, knocking him to the ground.

"Power Shell!" Kooper shouted and jumped into his shell. He spun faster and faster and launched himself into the two Clubbas, knocking them down. Bow flew past the Clubbas and before they knew it, they had big welting slap marks on their faces. They fell down to the ground and groaned. Everyone stepped over them and ran up the stairs. They were back onto the main floor but there was no Selena there.

"Where did she go?" Jimmy asked.

"I think I know where she went!" Biew called as she ran up to them. "When I was working for her, I overheard her talking that after she got the Magical child she would go to a Kammy Koopa and tell her that she won the battle. They agreed to meet in the grove east of here. I'll take you there!"

"So she never intended to want to talk about leaving. They must have known that we were coming!" Goombario realized. "Let's go!"

They went out of the Boo mansion and they found two fairies talking among themselves. Jimmy approached them. "Um hi, Ladies...I was just wondering, have you seen the wonderful Selena around?"

They both turned to him and they smiled but not a smile of warmth. Their hair was creating shade that covered their eyes. The first one flew up to him. "Hee hee hee! Do you want to play...?"

Jimmy stepped away from them.

"They have been charmed, step away from them." Biew said.

"I'm afraid that we won't let you pass." The Fairies said. "Our queen is busy talking with our master. Now she has nothing to say thanks to your escaping. However...if we destroy you right now...then she'll have good news to report."

Jimmy and the others took a fighting stance. "Bring it on, girl!"

"Hee hee hee...you're mine!" The Fairies smiled evilly as they both brandished long pink ribbons that could flow in the wind but underneath the ribbons gleamed the blade of a knife. They started dancing in a really seducing, decadent way.

"Be careful Jimmy." Goombario said as he gave his little tattle tale of them. "I saw something shiny in those pretty ribbons, don't come near or they might slash you! and you know that Fairy can be a cute word for "SIREN" so watch out."

"Come here." The other Fairy said as she winked at Goombario. The wink hit him like a slap in the face and he started hobbling around, smiling half like and there was a green swirl dancing around the top of his head.

"He's been charmed!" Bow shouted and then rushed into a dancer, doing 3 harsh slaps to her and she fell on the ground and suddenly she looked up, back to normal.

"Attack him!" The Fairy commanded Goombario and Goombario rushed at Jimmy and suddenly stopped. Suddenly the young goomba closed his eyes tight, cried out and started shaking his head violently. The fairy stepped back and stopped dancing. "What on earth!? STOP RESISTING MY SPELL! ATTACK HIM NOW!!"

Goombario was shuddering. "...N-NO! I WON'T ATTACK HIM!" Goombario rushed at her and she got a sharp headbutt from him, but not before she traded blows. She collapsed from the blow and fell to the ground.

The two fairies slowly got up. "...What have I been doing all this time...I don't remember anything..."

Goombario rolled along the ground. He slowly got up but suddenly felt a jab of pain which kept him down. "Agh! Ouch..."

Jimmy ran to him and checked him over. He saw the gash which was on the side of his body, it was starting to bleed. "Oh no...you've been cut..."

"I'm okay!" Goombario groaned.

"No you're not! It's bleeding!" Jimmy protested angrily. "I'll help you." He took part of his huge tee shirt and ripped it. He brushed the wound free of dirt which made Goombario shudder. He then compressed it. "That's the best I can do until I find a mushroom."

"I can help him." Biew quickly responded. "Please, if you don't stop the Queen, Kammy Koopa's gonna kill her if she tells Kammy that she failed."

Jimmy and everyone else ran to the grove that Biew told about and the enslaved queen was waiting. She turned to Jimmy when she approached and she hissed. "How did you escape?!"

"You will be controlled no longer..." Jimmy motioned and took out his feather. The feather flashed and suddenly Selina dropped to the ground.

"Ugh...My head..." Selena groaned. "...What happened? What am I doing here?"

"You've been hypnotized...you haven't..." Jimmy was cut short when Kammy flew there on her broomstick.

"Sooo..." Kammy sneered. "My little spell has been broken huh? Well, well...and if it isn't the little hero and his happy little band?"

"It's you! The Creepy Turtle Witch!" Jimmy shouted.

"Why you stuck up little..." Kammy mumbled. "You failed, Selena! So now you're going to pay for it!"

"I never wanted to work for you in the first place, you witch!" Selena yelled. "Even when you threatened me..."

"Yes...even then you wouldn't obey me." Kammy replied. "So I had to charm you! But even THAT didn't work! You're going straight to the underworld for this!" She then pulled out her wand and started chanting. "Gandlegash Vicin nes kilion rashi!" Her staff turned evilly black and she summoned a pool of sludgy looking matter that formed beneath Selena. She then fell into the sludgy matter screaming and the pool closed up. "Good, now that she's out of the way, onto business. I'd take care of you and your pathetic friends now but I've got things to do." She takes a look at a tree sapling that was growing in the middle of the grove. "I'm gonna give you a lovely gift. Here you go!" She turned to the sapling and sprinkled some rainbow colored magic dust on it. "This powder is a nifty experiment well done by one of my apprentices. It makes things bigger and it turns things into monsters!"

The sapling suddenly shook and the ground started to shake. The shaking got more violent as the tree sapling grew horribly to over fifty feet tall. The tree gained a face and grew a full canopy. The face of the tree became angry looking and She winked at them. "Tee hee! For those who don't know, my name is Cher Ree! Now, why don't you have some cherries? My treat!" She then shook her canopy violently and hundreds of cherries flew out of it. Everyone gasped and ran about frantically, trying not to get hit from them. When the cherries landed, they exploded in a mini bomb explosion.

"Bwah! Cherry Bombs!" Jimmy stammered and tried to avoid them but the explosions knocked them to the ground. Bombette wound herself up and ran into the Tree with her fuse lit. She crashed into Cher and exploded, she screamed in pain from it. Kooper jumped into his shell and smashed into her and Bow gave the Tree girl three sharp slaps.

Cher Ree then turned a little red in the face and glared at them. She was almost hyperventilating in anger. She then screeched in rage and the ground started to shake. "Nature's Fury!!" Suddenly from out of the ground shot huge, sharp tree roots. Jimmy and everyone cried out and tried to avoid being stabbed. Then several leaves flew off of her branches and whirled about with razor edges. Jimmy took out the fire orb badge and summoned a flamey blast which burned up the leaves over her, then with lightning speed he summoned a gusty blast which blew the leaves into her. She cried out and screamed from pain again as she was partly in flames. Cher Ree was exhausted after her little temper tantrum as well.

Bombette jumped up and body slammed Cher Ree and Bow rose from behind to do more slap attacks. Kooper also launched himself into her and she started to spin. She exploded in a blast of yellow energy, then pink and then blue and she shrank back down to her normal sapling self. Everyone collapsed in exhaustion. Jimmy panted. "Thatz the battle..."

Biew ran up to them and fell to her knees. "What happened? did she..." Jimmy looked at her, full of despair and nodded. "...Oh No...Mother..." Beiw began to cry and she silently wept to herself but she ran over to Jimmy and buried her face in his shoulder. His eyes grew glassy and he only held her.

Goombario ran up to them and said. "What happened?"

Jimmy looked at him with tears in the corners of his eyes. "The only thing anyone can do now is be there to be leaned on. The toughest thing is having to say good-bye to people you love. I couldn't save the queen in time."

Goombario walked over to him and everyone had a moment of silence. The other Fairies approached and asked what happened and were horrified at it. "Since the Kammy Koopa creature defeated our queen...that means that you are now the Queen, your majesty." The fairies bowed to Biew Tee and she frowned.

"I will take the throne as the Fairy Queen and I'll rule the fairies with utmost care. You can count on me." Biew said. "The first thing we're going to do is go back to Flower Fields. We've intruded on the Boo's peaceful forest." She turned to Lady Bow and Bootler and bowed in apology. "Could you ever forgive us?"

"Forgive you? It wasn't even the fault of your people, for it wasn't your choice to come here. Of course, we won't ever hold it against you." Bow replied sweetly. "I only hope our races can live in peace."

"Thank you. Good bye Jimmy, may your quest be successful!" Queen Biew said sincerely and the fairies pulled out of the forest. The forest went back to its normal, gloomy self.

"Thank you for helping us Boos out." Bow said. "I'm gonna come with you to get all the rest of our friends! I also think this Journey's gonna get pretty interesting..."

"Thanks!" Jimmy beamed. "Parakarry was supposed to be in Gusty Gulch, it's right down the road too!" He pointed to the sign and they followed the path down the dusty trail.
