Jimmy saw the wreckage that was in Toad Town and he was greeted by a whole crowd of people. There had to be hundreds of people there. They were all cheering for him and Jimmy let Goombario down from his arms. "Well everyone...We've done it! We've saved your Mario, Luigi and Peach!"

"You've also got rid of Bowser and those horrible zombies!" Tayst E. smiled gently. "They were a real problem but you did it!"

"Three cheers for Jimmy and his friends!!"

"Hip, Hip Horray!! Hip, Hip Horray!! Hip, Hip Horray!!" The whole crowd cheered and it made the group blush.

"Princess Toadstool wants to see you." Russ T. said. "You should go see her at the palace now."

Jimmy and everyone ran to the palace and the Toad Guards let them through. They walked in and saw everyone there. There was Goombario's, Kooper's and Watt's family, Lakilulu and Penguin mayor, Moustafa from dry dry outpost, The New Fairy Queen Biew Tee and Yoshi, the chief of Yoshi's island along with Sushie and Sashimi. There was Bootler and there was Rogon and Merluun and Petunia as well as Kolorado. Esmeralda was there too, waving at Jimmy and blushing. Mario, Luigi and Peach were at the top. Jimmy, Goombario, Parakarry, Bow, Lakilester, Watt, Kooper, Bombette entered and saw the people cheering for them. They blushed as their friends all crowded around them

"You did it! That's so awesome!" Yoshi smiled and took his feather off for them. "Well done! I take my Chief's crown off for you!"

"You rock!" Rogon cheered. "I mean, not even I could have done what you just did!"

"You've exceeded my expectations, Jimmy! You've truly grown up." Merluun said. "You know that Drakonian girl? Think I got a chance with her?"

"HEY!" Rogon glared at Merluun. "She's MINE!" They begin a 'philosophical' discussion while Petunia approached them.

Petunia bowed to Jimmy and everyone and said. "I thank you on behalf of the Dazee clan."

Jimmy smiled to her and suddenly Esmeralda jumped up to him, she was blushing. "Wow, the kid just fresh into Draknonianism beat out an evil Drakonian Sorceress!"

"You knew she was a sorceress? Or that she was a Drakonian?" Jimmy asked.

"Yeah, we Drakonians are really close...and speaking of close..." Leaned in close and kissed him on the cheek. He blushed at her and she replied. "You're cute when you blush, I'll see you later!"

"Old boy! You've returned to us!" Kolorado said quaintly. "How much have you learned about that feather? I've been dying to know!"

"How's your wife?" Jimmy asked.

"My...oh no! I forgot about her again!" Kolorado ran out of the palace at that. "Oh my sweet! I'll go back to Lavalava island to save you!"

Biew Tee bowed to him. "Congratulations everyone, you've saved the whole world! Us fairies and everyone in flower field applaud your courage! You're our hero!"

Jimmy ran up the stairs and Peach was smiling at them all. "I'm pleased to offer you a commemorative statue! It's of you and all who helped you!" She unveiled it and everyone got a look at it. It was a picture of Jimmy and everyone in a brave pose, looking up at the sky. They all looked happy and there was a plaque on the bottom. "This statue commemorate the day that Jimmy, Goombario, Parakarry, Watt, Lakilester, Kooper, Parakarry and Bow freed the people of the Mushroom kingdom from both Bowser and Kammy Koopa. Auguae 20, 28226."

Peach handed out medals to all seven of them and they got their picture in the front page of the newspaper. The photographer interviewed them and he left to print his story. Goombario ran to his family and said to them. "We did it!"

"We're so proud of you!" Goomma and Goompa both said and nuzzled him. He blushed from embarrassment when his sister approached.

"Hey Goombario...not bad!" Goombaria smiled and nudged him. "Not bad at all..."

Back at the top of the stairs, Lakilester flew over and up to his Girlfriend. She smiled to him. "Well done, Lakilester! I knew you could do it!"

"Um...Lakilulu...I'm sorry about not wanting to...well...but now I think I'm ready to settle down. I love you, Lakilulu...will you marry me for real?" Lakilester blushed and asked.

"Of course..." Lakilulu smiled and they kissed. "I love you too, Lakilester."

"Lady Bow, you've worked most excellent to Aid Jimmy on his quest." Bootler said. "Um...If you want to leave the Boo mansion..."

"You know..." Bow replied. "I think I'm gonna hang around the mansion for a little while. I've had all the adventuring I can stand...for now. But don't think I'm not gonna sneak out every now and then!"

Watt floated to her family and they nuzzled her up. "We're so proud of you, Watt...we're positively powered up to have a daughter like you." Her parents said to her and they all hugged her.

"Old boy! You're a hero to us once more!" Kolorado cheered. "So you want to go on safari with me?"

"How about instead we cover the not so ancient Drakonians?" Kooper smiled and looked in Jimmy's direction. "I only hope you can right fast! Oh right! I want you to meet my new partner. Bombette!"

Bombette nodded and said. "I'm honored."

Jimmy walked out of the the Palace and sat down on the stone banister. He looked at his feet and sighed heavily. Goombario walked up and jumped up on him. "What's the matter, Jimmy?"

"It's just that...you've all got families. I wish I had one too. I wonder how they would react?" Jimmy asked.

"They...would be so proud of you. You saved the world! Who wouldn't be!" Goombario replied warmly. "...I would be."

"We are proud of you, Jimmy."

Jimmy hopped off of him and they both looked on with shimmering eyes at what they saw. The area glowed with a reddish gold and from out of the light, stepped Gloria and Allan. Jimmy's mother and father. "Oh Jimmy..."

Jimmy's eyes went glassy and he smiled sweetly. "...Mother...Father...?" He rushed over and hugged them both and they hugged him, smiling gently. "...I missed you so much..."

"We must leave soon again...we've only been given a little time to tell you this. Jimmy...we've always been proud of you. You are our son and you will always...be in our hearts..." They both hugged Jimmy and then Jimmy stepped back as his parents found themselves being swallowed up by the golden light and they were gone whispering. "We love you Jimmy..."

Jimmy fell to his knees and cried tears of joy. "They love me... Someone loves me...!"

Goombario walked up to him and said with glimmering eyes. "I want to tell you something...I want to keep protecting you. I think from now on...I'm gonna consider you my little brother..."

Jimmy hugged him close and wept until Jimmy sniffed and wiped his eyes. "Oh wow! I have a big brother!" He then smiled. "Brothers got to stick together so...I'm not going back to...the world of humans."

"You aren't?" Goombario asked brightly.

"No...I want to stay here!" Jimmy nodded. "I want to stay with all my friends...I want to stay with you...big brother!"

"Oh...My wish...has been granted!" Goombario said, gaining tears.

Back in the human world, Terry awoke and went to the mailbox to get the mail. She found a letter and she read it aloud but then trailed off. "Dear Terry, Jimmy's guardian. Jimmy has... oh!" She them smiled and took out the official papers. "Oh...he has been adopted by a Peach Toadstool? Well...I guess his wish has been granted then."
