They all walked into the Star Haven and found it's was made mostly of crystal with carpets with the color of whatever the spirit's color was. There were seven star spirits and they all looked in on the Boy when he approached the middle of them. "Welcome...we have been expecting you...thanks to you and your valiant friends for breaking the barrier over Star Haven."

"I am Jimmy, the Drakonite and I have come to ask you about some things that I've wondered." Jimmy replied. "They have to do with many things."

"Shoot." They said.

"What is Gelnishia?" Jimmy asked.

"She is a demon that we helped your parents seal in the void between dimensions. Gelnishia is a powerful sorceress who wants to enslave and destroy our world with her necromancy." They replied sadly. "She was only sealed so she would be destined to return some time. We just hoped it wasn't soon."

Jimmy frowned and stared at the ground in sadness. "Is this because of me? Am I the reason she was released?"

"Well...Yes with an if and no with a but..." They replied sagely. "You were crossed over here by us and we did it when the void between dimensions was small. We summoned you here to save the two Mario Brothers. However... something we never expected or wanted happened."

"Gelnishia used the chance to free herself." Jimmy mumbled.

"That is correct. Gelnishia was waiting for an opportunity like this to unseal herself. She used the body of an intelligent creature to perform the revival. That person was Kammy Koopa...a witch who swore allegiance to Bowser." Their voice became full of regret. "Gelnishia used the weaknesses in Kammy's soul to control her. She never had any idea..."

"Oh wow..." Goombario mumbled to Bow and she frowned back.

"I never thought she was that bad last time..." Bow replied softly.

"Gelnishia has been freed but she hasn't much time to revive herself fully. You must take this chance to destroy her once and for all. When she is gone, this world will return to normal." The star spirits said. "We believe and will invest our power in you."

Jimmy started to glow and he felt the warmth of a blessing. He glowed in a rainbow of colors and he lifted slightly off the ground. The others looked on with eyes that shined with intrigue and wonder. When it was over, Jimmy returned to his feet. "What did you do?"

"When you battle Gelnishia for the last time, you may use our power to add to your own. We have faith in you and your friends. We are star spirits who grant wishes but we are the ones wishing now. We wish for your success, Jimmy." The Star spirits said and Jimmy backed away from the center where the floor slid to the side and a large flying vehicle rose up from the ground. "Please make these old star's wishes come true..."

Jimmy jumped into the Vehicle and everyone piled in after him. Jimmy touched a button and they rose off the ground. They rose out of Star Haven through the skylight and they began their flight towards the Black Palace. Goombario approached Jimmy and said. "You think we can do it?"

Jimmy smiled knowingly and said. "I think we BOTH know the answer to that question. Hold on tight, everyone! It gets rough from here!" They then hit some wicked turbulence and it shook the cloud car violently. He tried to regain control and managed to hold out long enough to land safely in the dark courtyard of the castle.

They all hopped out of the cloud car and looked around. The wind was blowing and it was full of hate and rage. The castle was larger than they thought and they saw the castle was really as black as night, it looked like it was made of black jet. and they ran down the courtyard path and saw that the door was guarded by some sort of creature with a huge scythe. He was wearing a cloak and he had glowing red eyes. He looked at them and laughed. "Pitiful fools! You've doomed yourselves by coming here!"

"Where are we?" Jimmy asked. "This is the way to Gelnishia's lair isn't it?"

"Ha! Yeah, she's inside...but you'll never talk to her...why? Cause you're gonna die right here!" The Monster said. "I'm Scar Rie and I'll be the one who has the pleasure of introducing you to your maker, bird!"

Jimmy jumped back and Goombario, Parakarry, Bombette and Watt all backed him up. Scar Rie lunged at him and swung his scythe and Jimmy and everyone else nimbly dodged his powerful swings. Goombario told everyone to back off and he said. "This is Scar Rie and he's another monster that we'll beat."

"Yeah right! You make me laugh, you talking footstool!" Scar Rie yelled and shot a stream of gooey black lightning which ravaged everyone and knocked them back. "You'll be mine!"

"He's another monster so he'll probably get beaten back by some sort of light!" Goombario commented. "...But where are we going to find light here?"

Jimmy jumped back and summoned a yellow force ball. "I'll bet these are!" He launched them and the Scar Rie monster and they hit him, knocking him against the gates of the castle. He growled at them and jumped clear over them. He opened his arms and summoned a black force ball in them. He launched it into the ranks of the group and it knocked them apart. Jimmy used his magic powers and took out a feather and it turned into a ring of light. "Light ring, trap him!!" Jimmy released the ring and it flew up. Scar Rie tried to fly away but he got trapped in it. Jimmy then summoned another yellow force ball and launched it, marking Scar Rie in the back. He tumbled along the cobbled path. Jimmy waved his arms and spun around once. The whole area began to glow and Goombario, Watt, Kooper and Parakarry all felt a great warmth. Jimmy smiled to them. "I cast a spell to put a light elemental mark on your attacks. You can attack him now!"

Parakarry and Kooper ducked into their shells and rolled into the trapped Scar Rie. They slammed him and he was knocked further back. Watt body slammed him and he felt more of the stinging light. Bombette lit herself and marched into Scar Rie, exploding in a blast of bright light. He screamed and tried desperately to escape but Jimmy drew his magic sword of light. He rushed and sliced into him with three dexterous strokes. Scar Rie then disintegrated and appeared as a Jammin' Jelly. Jimmy turned and sliced into the gate with his sword. The gate was torn apart and they walked inside of the castle.

The castle was of course, dark and ominous. There were statues of monsters everywhere and there was sacrificial rooms out of the grand halls. Jimmy walked in and joked. "Isn't this out of some slasher movie?"

"Looks like it. Let's just find this monster girl and get this over with." Kooper groaned. "I don't want to fight any more evil monsters."

"Well, you and me both, Kooper!" Watt replied nervously. "We have to do this though. Everyone on our world is depending on us."

"We can't let them down!" Jimmy nodded bravely. "We can't let this tragedy go on."

They walked up the stairs and saw that the ceiling was decorated with the pieces of the dead hanging from the ceiling. Jimmy looked up and gained a sick look. "Oh, nice decorating. This is so sick."

"Well, she's some sort of demon queen." Kooper shrugged. "What do you expect?"

Suddenly the arm fell onto Goombario and he screamed. "Oh! GROSS! Get it off of me!"

Jimmy disgustedly picked the arm up and threw it into the corner of the room. "Beware of falling limbs..."

"How sick." Watt gagged. "Man, let's just get there and get it over with!"

They went through a door and found some sort of room with chained up animals hanging from the ceiling. There were two stairways going up to the main area of the palace and they stopped to look around. Jimmy looked at both stairs and Goombario mumbled. "The path separates..."

"Which way are we going to go?" Watt asked.

"We should go left." Jimmy said. "I feel an ominous power radiating from there."

"You know...AVOIDING the ominous power isn't too bad an idea..." Kooper mumbled. "...But I guess we have to face our fears."

They ran up the stairs and they saw that the stairs above led to the same room. The room had a huge platform in the center with tons of monster statues all around it. The platform was suspended over lava. "I don't like this..." Parakarry murmured. "But then again, I don't like any of the other stuff."

"Speaking of trouble...we should have run into some by now." Jimmy looked around. "Like a guard...or a booby trap..." Suddenly the room went black. "Or an ambush..."

The room lit up to reveal three fairy like people. The first one was white and red with red fairy wings. He dropped down to say. "My name's Daniel!"

The second flew up from the ground to join his friend. He was blue and white and he had blue fairy wings. He flew up and introduced. "My name's Dan!"

The third fairy flew down from the ceiling. He was wearing a yellow and white fairy getup saying. "Hooeee! Connichiwa! The name's Danny!"

The fairies danced around them and they gained looks of surprise. Goombario sighed with relief and said. "At least it's not a monster."

"We like to eat goombas." They all said and bared their fangs in reply and Goombario groaned. The fairies flew up to the others and said. "We also like to eat other things like Koopas and Bombs and Light bulbs and birds too."

"Why do you guys call me Bird?" Jimmy asked.

"Cause you're a Drakonian! Duhh!" Daniel replied whimsically. "Now let's fight!" They flew in a straight line and Daniel summoned a giant flaming boulder that fell down and almost crushed the group. Dan summoned a blast of icy wind that blew the boulder off the platform and Danny landed hard on the ground, Jolting Jimmy and Goombario with an electric shock. Jimmy summoned a huge blast of wind that blew the fairies back to the far wall.

"These are the Fairy Triplets. Daniel, Danny and Dan. They have fire, ice and lightning magic. Use elemental magic they're weak against." Goombario said as they flew back over to the group. Parakarry shelled himself into Dan and knocked him onto the ground. Jimmy summoned a fireball and threw it at Dan. It hit him and he shrieked as he turned into dust. Jimmy smiled but then had to summon a mirror from his feather to block Danny's lightning bolt. The bolt bounced back and hit Danny. He laughed as he surged with electricity. He flew and tackled Parakarry, mega shocking him. He fell to the ground and collapsed. Jimmy turned to him but Goombario missed in head butting Daniel and he tumbled to the back. Daniel spun around and summoned a fireball. He aimed at Goombario and fired it but Jimmy took the hit. He was knocked to his butt and countered with a gusty blizzard blast which froze Daniel in his tracks. Watt jumped into the popsicle fairy, slamming and breaking the iced fairy apart.

Danny growled and slammed the ground again, shocking Jimmy, Goombario, Kooper and the downed Parakarry. Jimmy rushed to parakarry and pressed his hands against the turtle and he glowed a bright blue. Sparkles appeared around him as he was healing up. Goombario jumped up and slammed Danny up into the air. Watt slammed him back down and they repeated. Jimmy jumped up and plucked his feather summoned finally a huge rock which flew down and squished the fairy. Jimmy sighed and got up. "Well, that's the end of those three... they weren't too tough. Anyone hurt? I just patched Parakarry up."

"Well, we were shocked a couple of times but we're okay." Goombario and Kooper replied. "Let's keep going."

They walked across the platform and they looked at the stairs. They were highly decorated and they looked official. Jimmy took out his friend badges and everyone jumped out. "Let's go everyone. Gelnishia is right past these stairs." They ran up the stairs and they were in the final chamber. The chamber was arranged in archaic design in the midst of an upside down pentagram. They looked around and they saw a figure in shadow. "Welcome heros..."

"You...you must be Gelnishia..." Jimmy said almost in a whisper. "I know about you..."

"Yes...those wretched star spirits must have told you. Well...here we are at very long last. You have done well to make it this far...and to tell you the truth, I knew you'd make it here. I've taken the liberty and arranged some suitable entertainment for you." Gelnishia said with evil. "They're happy to see and fight you as am I."

"Why are you doing this zombie stuff to our world!?" Goombario shouted. "You're covering the world in evil! It has to stop!"

"Sorry honey but It's all for my friends. They've lusted for rebirth and I wasn't about to say no to them. Now they're out to destroy the world of the living." Gelnishia sneered. "It's about time for a change. I say we go for revolution!"

"You aren't making sense. Zombies are enchanted corpses but...they don't walk the earth because they want to. You're the one controlling them!" Goombario shouted. "You don't have any right to ruin our world! You also don't have any right to raise the dead! They want to rest in peace!"

"Oh yes? When everyone dies...they become more happy. Zombies have infinite life and they can do whatever they want! Their lives will have meaning!" Gelnishia interjected. "I mean, your lives are fruitless and pointless."

"They are not!" Jimmy protested. "We have a lot to live for."

"Oh yeah?" Gelnishia asked. "And what have you to live for, orphan bird?"

"When I started out...I had no one who truly cared about me. I had no family and I was full of despair. That was...until I met some people who taught me what love and friendship is." Jimmy said. "Now I'm more powerful and happy than ever before! I have friends and people who care about me!"

"When I started out...I had no true friends, sure I had a couple of people who didn't mind having me around but now I have some people who like me for ME and not for what I do. They have accepted me for the way I am." Goombario nodded.

"I learned about friends as well. When you have something to hold on to, Life is worth living. All I had before is my job and now I have so much more." Parakarry replied.

"This journey has taught me that I can actually rely of people to help me. Now I can commit and trust people without worry of getting hurt." Lakilester replied. "I'm smarter than before."

"I have my wonderful friends here." Kooper said. "I know that this journey has been fruitful!"

"I've realized that I need my freedom and I can get it however I want!" Bow said. "Now I have tons of freedom and I love every minute of it!"

"The journey has taught me that I can do ever so much more than just blow up. I can blow up to HELP people now!" Bombette said brightly.

"I'll always be happy cause I'm surrounded by people who care." Watt nodded. "I'll do anything for my friends and they'll do anything for me!"

Gelnishia looked at their passionate and soulful eyes and suddenly laughed out loud. "Wah ha ha ha!! Whoa! Is the air getting mushy in here? Or is just me? I hope you people fight as well as you talk...come on! I'll take you on!"

"You shouldn't fight us. You're going to lose." Jimmy said flatly.

"Oh I'll win! I'll crush all of you...you just wait. If you can get to me, then I'll be impressed enough to give you my all in battle. Well...shall we?" She then stomped her foot and a giant rock jutted up from the ground, taking her up 100 feet. She revealed a mountain of monsters below here, chattering and jeering at them. "You'll have to face me and your challenges."

"It's over, Gelnishia." Jimmy said and everyone got ready to fight. "Let's do it."
