High in the sky, back at Bowser's Castle, Kammy and Bowser were in his room, talking about what has happened. The spy came in that morning and told them the awful news about the poisoning's failure.
"WHAT?!" Bowser screamed. "That's not possible!!"
"I'm sorry sir, they cured the kid." The Spy Guy reported. "They also beat up Invisi Boo AND the Silver Flying Koopas."
"Get out you idiot!" Bowser roared and the Spy Guy scurried away. Kammy Koopa flew in and she had an angry look about her. "So you heard huh?"
"I know...the poison got cured...Stars, it's like this kid has nine lives!" Kammy complained. "We don't even have any leads as to where they're going next!"
"My guess would be flower fields to get that smart mouthed Lakitu jerk but my spies tell that they already saw him! How are we going to take him down now?" Bowser asked. "Nothing seems to work!"
"We'll think of something...wait! I can ask a friend! He'll help me get rid of Jimmy." Kammy said as she flew out of the room.
Bowser returned to his diary and sighed. "Maybe I should let the princess out of her block. She's been trapped there for days...I'll do it!" Bowser nodded and walked to the room where they were captured.
"Bowser! Come to gloat about capturing us?" Luigi growled. "Well you caught us! Yippee for you! What an honor!"
"Shut up, twig boy!" Bowser snapped as he went over to Peach's Block. He turned his back and rammed into the block three times, cracking it down the middle. "There!" Bowser snapped. "Sorry to keep you captured like that my dear."
"Um...Thank you..." Peach said soft but timid as she got out of her block. "Are you going to free them as well?"
"No! Be thankful I did to you!" Bowser growled. "You can go anywhere you want in the castle as long as you don't leave this wing! Ha ha ha!" Well so long, my Peach." He left the room.
Peach turned to Mario and Luigi and said. "Don't worry, I'll find a way for you to break out of those blocks. They're only stone..."
Twink flew in through the window and called. "Princess! You're free! I'll get Mario and Luigi something to eat. You try to find something to break these stone blocks."
"We'll get out of here!" Peach winked.

Back at the Toad House, Goombario jumped off the bed, and came downstairs. On the way down, he ran into Bow. "Hi bow!"
"Hi Goombario..." Bow smiled. "I want to have a talk with you."
"Um...sure!" Goombario smiled nervously as bow led him outside to The room upstairs. There Jimmy slept, looking peaceful and serene. Bow smiled and led Goombario out of the house and in the back of it. "Why here?"
"Because I want to talk to you about something." Bow asked. "...Okay..." One of her eyes caught the sunlight and it gleamed mischievously, anime style. "So what's the story on you and Jimmy?"
"Huh?" Goombario asked and and looked up. "Well...I was asked by the star spirits to guard him and now I've really taken a shine to him. I want to be his best friend!"
"That's...nice." Bow said flatly. "You protect him and you're protective of him I mean...the way you and Parakarry beat on that Bane Guy to a bloody pulp last night when he poisoned Jimmy, I was STUNNED. You stand up for him, you take care of him and. He's cleans you up and gives you special attention when you get hurt...and..." She smirked. "I saw you and Jimmy's mom too!"
Goombario sighed. "Wasn't his mom beautiful?"
"She was...that means that Jimmy's a Drakonian you know so we'll have to talk to him about his becoming." Bow assessed. "Isn't Isle Tejina an island with Drakonians?"
"I don't know..." Goombario mumbled and looked away. "I'll talk to Chief Yoshi about it. Maybe he'll know something."
Back in the Toad House, Jimmy finally awoke. He saw the sun shine through the window and smiled at how nice the day was going to be. He yawned and aprose from bed and hobbled outside to take in the fresh air. "What a nice day!"
Goombario approached him and asked unsteadily. "What are you doing up?"
"I feel quite good. I'm just a little tired." Jimmy replied. "Man, I'm glad I don't have to face another night of poisoning, that was rough. I even cried, it was so painful." He walked over and sat down on a log that was laying on the ground. "How...bad was I? I don't even remember a half an hour of it."
"I thought you were a goner in some spots...I was so sad." Goombario hopped onto the log and sighed. "I had to revive you three times because you stopped breathing."
"Thank you Goombario." Jimmy said sincerely. "I owe you my life." Goombario turned away and blushed. Jimmy looked at him smiling with interest. "...Are you blushing?"
"No..." Goombario groaned and blushed even more.
"You're not a very good liar." Jimmy commented. "Don't be so modest...You're a great protector and an even greater friend. I really like you."
"I like you too." Goombario replied nodding.
"Seeing you kind of reminds me. Can Goombas blush?" Jimmy asked. "You bleed too...how come?"
"Yeah! We may look like funguses but we're animals too." Goombario replied.
"That's cool!" Jimmy said. "I had this wierd dream last night. You were in it and so was some sort of angel...she talked about some stuff..."
Goombario nodded. "That was your real mother...she was beautiful!"
"How did you see her?" Jimmy asked. "Was I down and out?"
"She appeared after they gave you the golden honey. She said that you would be okay and that she was proud of you. You're really a Drakonite, Jimmy...she told me that they snuck you into the human world because they wanted to protect you from some evil they sealed." Goombario told him solemnly.
"Wow...I thought they died in a car accident. That's what the doctors told me..." Jimmy mumbled sadly. "Well...I have this Drakonian feather and now you say I'm a Drakonian..."
"Yeah you are." Goombario commented. "And we should go see the Chief Yoshi about it. He'll probably be able to tell us about an island that we should go to."
"Really?" Jimmy asked. "We'd better get going." He got up and Goombario and he walked to the main meeting area of the Village. There's an island in the center that was bridged by two hollow logs. They walked up over the bridge and sat down on a couple of logs and nearly jumped when they saw Yoshi sitting there with the chief's head dress.
"Yoshi! You're chief!" Goombario said.
"I am now...the party you went to last night was Chief Yoshi's retirement." Yoshi replied. "I'm the chief now because of all my service. It's actually just ceremonial. Jimmy, I'm so glad to see that you got over that poison..."
"Thank you!" Jimmy said earnestly. "You wanted to talk to us, Chief Yoshi?"
"A title!" Yoshi cheered. "Finally I have a title! I'm so happy!" He then nodded. "I want to talk about what you could possibly do next."
"We've found all our friends so we can actually start our journey." Jimmy smiled to Goombario and he smiled back. "Where do you think we should go?"
"I think you should go to the Tejina Island. It's an island to the northeast populated by Wizards who used to be in close relations with the Drakonites. They know all about their history." Yoshi took out a wrapped package and gave it to Jimmy. "And this is from me. I hope you will take care of it...it just might come in handy."
Jimmy unwrapped it. "Oh wow! It's a pan flute!" He saw it was made of silver and it had the emblem of the yoshies stamped on it. The emblem was a yoshi egg that rested in a nest of leaves. "Thank you!" Yoshi just smiled in response. "Goombario! Let's go to the Toad house to tell them where we're going."
They ran back to the Toad house and they ran downstairs. There they saw Kooper and Parakarry and Lakilester were watching TV and Lakilester was complaining about how much of a prude his girlfriend was and Bow, Watt and Bombette were discussing girl things. Parakarry turned to them and growled. "I'll bet they're going to try to dress me up like a girl..."
"That's because you're a fag!" Lakilester joked and Parakarry turned to him, ready to fight. "I'll bet you're trying to determine who you are..."
"Shut up!!" Parakarry snapped. "I'm not!"
"Hi guys." Jimmy said. "We're going to go to Tejina island to learn about my heritage. Apparently I'm not a human...I'm a Drakonian. The whale'll probably take us to the island."
"Right." They all nodded and they went with him back to the beach. Sure enough, the whale was right there waiting patiently. Jimmy approached the whale and asked. "Could you please take us to a place called Tejina island?"
"Sure thing! I'm on break!" The Whale replied and they all got on.
Meanwhile on the shores of the sunny island of Tejina. Kammy koopa jumped off her broom and called. "Yo! Rogon!"
Suddenly from beneath the water's crest leapt out a strange looking character. He had a slender human figure and face but had large quills for hair and he had tough shell armor over his lower arms and ankles and chest. He even had a pointy tail. He stood about 5 and 1/2 feet tall and "What do YOU want?"
"I want you to destroy this child." Kammy said as she summoned a picture of him. She gave it to him and he examined it with his discriminating eyes.
"You want me to fight a punk?" Rogon stared at her weirdly. "Why?"
"He's evil and needs to be destroyed. Be sure to destroy his friends too." Kammy commanded. "He aims to take your territory."
"Look Kammy...if you're going to lie about it, at least make it half convincing." Rogon sarcastically commented. "I'll think about it."
"Look...tell you the truth, it wouldn't be a very good idea for you NOT to refuse." Kammy mumbled. "I work with King Bowser and we need to stop this kid from getting any stronger. The only problem is that he's ALREADY really strong."
"I SAID I'll think about it." Rogon said. "Get out of my face, you're making me lose my lunch."
Kammy flew away grumbling. "You'd better do it...or else..."
When Kammy Koopa flew out of sight, Rogon took another look at the picture. "Meh..." He shrugged snidely and crumpled up the picture and threw it away. "Whatever..." He jumped back into the ocean and vanished from sight.
Back on the Cargo Whale, Jimmy and everyone looked out around the ocean and saw the island ahead. The island was large and almost medieval looking. The town was on the harbor and it looked olden. "Next stop, Tejina isle. Watch your step."
They jumped off the whale and looked around. Jimmy saw the beach path that led to the town and they began walking. They approached the town and suddenly Rogon jumped out of the water and landed on the ground in front of them. He checked out the people before him. "Hm hm hm..."
"What are you?" Jimmy asked.
"You're not the sharpest crayon in the box are you..." Rogon commented frankly and jumped up to him and looked him over. "Hmm...Lean build...Large Innocent eyes...Drakonian Feather...you look like that kid in the picture."
"What picture?" Goombario asked.
"Ah, a goomba...been awhile since I've seen something like you." Rogon commented in a sly way. "And a Lakitu rebel without a cause...A disgruntiled para postal worker...A pretty green gregarious ghost...and three badges on your arm representing your friends. You're the ones that freak, Kammy Koopa told me about. Well, you're not much to look at. I'm gonna try to destroy you but only because you're in my territory." Rogon jumped back and everyone took a fighting stance. Rogon bared his claws and laughed. "Let's have some fun."
Jimmy took out the gusty blast badge and summoned a blast of wind. The wind picked up the sand and blew it around in a sandstorm. Rogon got caught in it and backed off, shielding his eyes. He jumped over the sandstorm and landed on Jeremy, he knocked him onto the ground and Rogon jumped behind him. He turned to the others and said. "Who wants some..."
Goombario looked him over, turned to Jeremy and frowned. "Sorry... I got nothing on him."
Parakarry shot his shell at Rogon but he gracefully jumped out of the way. Parakarry kept going and crashed. Lakilester got out a spiny egg and hurled it at Rogon and he caught it. Rogon smiled and coolly volleyed it up into the air, he volleyed it three times and spiked it back over to Lakilester, volleyball style. Lakilester was hit in the cheek bone with it and he got knocked into the sand. His eyes were replaced with anime swirls. "Ugh..." Bow took in a huge breath and roared with her scare attack but Rogon just closed his eyes, tiny tear droplets forming in the corners of his eyes and he yawned.
Goombario prepared to headbutt him and Rogon just stood there with his arms behind his head. Rogon just looked at the young goomba strangely and Goombario backed off. "I don't think I'll be able to take him. He's waiting for my move." Jimmy jumped up and took a fighting stance against Rogon who just stood there, smirking. A wind blew across the sand and they stared hard at one another. Everyone got up and some time passed and Goombario gained an anime sweat drop on the back of his head. "Um...aren't you going to attack...?"
"Right..." Rogon teased. "Come on. What's the matter?"
Jimmy glared and continued to glare but suddenly he laughed. "Sorry! I don't feel like it!"
Goombario, Parakarry, Lakilester and Bow all suddenly collapsed, groaning with annoyance. Rogon smiled and dropped his action pose. "Hm hm hm... Congrats, Jimmy."
Jimmy smiled knowingly. "I KNEW you didn't really want to fight us."
"Kammy Koopa asked me to fight you." Rogon said flatly. "But She's annoying...GAWD SHE'S ANNOYING... So since she asked me, I decided to NOT want to fight. Originally I was going to!"
"So you aren't going to kill us?" Goombario asked.
"Nope." Rogon replied.
"I'm sorry we trespassed on your territory." Jimmy apologized sincerely. "We didn't know."
"Apology accepted." Rogon nodded. "Come on! I'll take you to the wizard city! You've probably come here to go there."
"Thank you!" Jimmy said and then turned to everyone. "Come on! Let's go to the Wizard City!"
Rogon walked them to the gates and they went into the Wizard city. They all gasped at the strange architecture. The houses looked giant wizard hats with steeples. Everyone who was walking around was dressed in ceremonial robes used for performing various types of magic. There were multiple badge shops that sold badges equipped for magic users like Jimmy. They walked through the streets and the people were waving and greeting Rogon and everyone as they walked through the town. "Welcome to the city of Wizards. We live here studying the ways of magic and our ancestors. I am their protector and my name is Rogon. What are you doing here of all places?"
"Good to meet you, Rogon and I want to learn about the Drakonites." Jimmy replied. "I'm one of them!"
"Well well..." Rogon mumbled and smiled mischievously. "I've met a Drakonite once. They can be quite friendly..." Then he laughed quietly to himself. "I just had an encounter with one about 2 weeks ago..."
"Huh?" Jimmy asked and Rogon smiled naughtily at him. Jimmy looked away he arched his eyebrows. "Ohhh..."
Rogon showed them to the house of the elder. "This is our elder's house. He's lived here for decades and he's always the one we need to talk to for advice. He's a great guy but a little...eccentric. You'll have to forgive him sometimes." Rogon knocked on the door.
"Who goes there?!" A voice called from within the steepled house.
"I've got some people that need to talk to you." Rogon said.
The door burst open and it revealed a shaman like person. He looked at Jimmy and hugged him close. Jimmy blinked and looked at his friends with worry. "Jimmy oh Jimmy! I've finally got to see you again!! Last time I saw you, you were such a young lad. Come! We mustn't leave you and your friends in this drafty doorway!" He left them and went into his house.
Jimmy walked in but not without shrugging and giving a weird look to
Rogon. "Um...let's go in..."
That's the end of Chapter 10. Um, not too bad but in my opinion, it
was pretty uneventful. What did you think about it?
