We open the episode with Sakura having another dream of the radio tower and how she can see most of the face and how she's holding some kind of instrument. The morning alarm awoke her and she looked about to see she was back in her bed. Kero scolds her about not waking up sooner. "You hear the alarm and you get up! Simple!" Sakura thinks Kero is just a little sour because no clow cards have attacked in a while and he tells her that "That Li kid was probably up hours ago, practicing his magical powers..." He takes the clow book out of the dresser and the clow cards fly out and circle Kero. They then go into some flashbacks about how she captured some of them, including the wood card. It reminds her that she's late for her new day of school in Grade 5.

    Sakura runs outside to see her brother in his bike. She skates up to him and asks why he's early for school and he tells her that it's his turn to set up the Chem lab. They find Julian but he's without a bike, He explains that his wheel got popped an it's in the shop for repairs. Sakura and Julian walk to school together and he gives her a late birthday present, but Sakura doesn't open it yet.

    Sakura goes to school and meets Madison. Li and Meilin also walk in and Sakura greets them and they talk about the new teacher. Li doesn't care but Sakura does if she or he's strict. In walked, Miss Mackenzie and it blew them away. Meilin comments that she and Li don't trust her. (Only speak for yourself!) Miss Mackenzie then welcomes all the students to grade 5 and tells that today is nice so they should do something outside. Some say sports but a girl said nature walk and Mackenzie agrees to that. She walks up to Sakura and tells that she should be on guard, never know what might happen. Sakura ponders this and looks out the window and finds snow falling. Sakura thinks that it's way too early for snow. (No it isn't, it's new year, a week after Christmas in the japanese version)

    Sakura comes home and opens her present and finds a wristwatch! She puts it on and tells Kero that it snowed today, highly unusual and Tori walks into the house, asking for a towel. "Sakura, hand me a towel" "Why?" "Just do it!!" Sakura hands him the towel and comments that he's soaked. Tori then tells her that snow can do that and that there's so much of it I had to walk my bike home and tells that it's at least 3 feet deep. When Sakura looks out the window, sure enough, everyone outside was getting buried in it. Sakura deliberates that it's a clow card with Kero in her room.

    Sakura calls Madison about it and she goes with her to the park where she finds Meilin and Li already there, standing on top of the snow with the help of the float card. (I thought Sakura had it? She had it in Episode 17...) Anyway, she's rescued by Kero and she floats with Li and Meilin and it starts to Snow and it gets blizzardish only around the magic people so they move away from it. The blizzard follows them around and Sakura uses the Fly card to get away. The are still followed by the blizzard and try to outrun it but it catches up. Sakura thinks she should use the Firey card but kero tells that it's too dangerous. Li uses his elemental fire attack but it's not strong enough. Sakura notices that her wristwatch is gone and she gets sad about it and decides to use the Firey card to attack snow and thaw it completely so she does. Firey thaws all of the snow and Snow becomes visible. Sakura seals it and Li comments that was a good capture and Kero tells him that now he knows what happens when Sakura gets mad.

    Sakura was still unhappy about the watch and jumps to the ground where Li tries to cheer her up and Mackenzie appeared. Mackenzie nicely gives the watch back to Sakura and she's happy again. Miss Mackenzie turns and walks away and disappears into the darkness.
 
 

Todd's not so Personal Thoughts

    This wasn't a bad episode, there was action and we learned a little more about the characters. I used a japanese episode guide to help me remembered what happened and there were some dialogue changes. Like when Li and Meilin comes in, they came in because they overslept and Meilin had a nice dream with Li in it. Well, that was another nice episode overall.
