Partners In Crime

Sakura wakes up to the annoying sound of Kero's voice. Sakura sees his glowing and he smiled. Sakura mistook him for a stuffed animal but after his incessant talking, she realized it wasn't a dream and she was a card captor, letting the cards escape and catching one last night, she doesn't really want to be a Cardcaptor but Kero assures her it will be fine.

More brother trouble but Sakura takes it "nicely" and he basks in the splender of the breakfast he made. She sneaks some cookies to kero and is off to school early.

Sakura takes a shortcut to School in which Julian's house is on the way. Julian sees her and asks about her going to school early. He gives her some flowers to put into the class which makes Sakura more than a little happy. She skates to school all klutzy and faint.

Sakura finally makes it to school and Madison finds her. Sakura asks Madison why she is at school so early and Madison replies by showing Sakura a movie she made last night. Sakura gains panic and freaks when she realized Madison taped her flying on the Sealing wand. An explanation is in order but Sakura can't make one up. To make matters worse, Kero flies out and Madison confirms her other suspicions when she looks at the movie again.

Madison is intorduced to Kero at lunch and Sakura asked him why he didn't stay at home and Kero replied that he hated being at home. Meanwhile, some boys are playing ball on the playground when one of the boy's shadows do not move with the boy when he ran off. Something is not right here...

Kero finished explaining what happened to Sakura in every detail and Madison becomes estatic. She now really wants into the card capturing deal. She dubs Sakura, the Cardcaptors and asks if Sakura can use her magic and Sakura summons her sealing wand and uses the fly card for a bit of an example.

Sakura and all the classmates leave the school for the day but their shadows stayed behind and messed up the desks in the school. When Sakura and Madison saw this the next day, they realized it was the work of the shadow card. Now, Madison and Sakura must go to school that night to seal it.

Sakura comes to school that night nervous and afraid. Madison comes with her to ease her fright and videotapes her. Sakura has the pride and honour of wearing the very first battle costume which makes her look like Little Red Riding Hood. We also see some of Madison's body guards.

The two are greeted with flying objects and desks being thrown by shadow spirits collecting at the school all day. It's obvious that the Shadow card is behind this and they face off against them. Sakura uses windy but it has no effect. Sakura used the fly card then to float over the shadow spirits and it saves her...for a couple of minutes. Now the shadows grab her wand and try to pull her down to them.

Madison takes to her feet and turns on the school lights, dispersing the shadows and they collect in the courtyard, showing shadow's visable form. Sakura faces off against Shadow and binds it with the windy card and seals it.

The next day, we have Sakura looking for Madison, only to find her editing the movie of last night's capture. Sakura is then made to promise that she'll include madison on EVERY capture and now we have a Duo.

KERO'S CORNER

Like the last time, we have Kero greeting everyone and then showing a detailed look at the battle costume Sakura used to capture the shadow card and goes over it in detail. Kero then shows everyone Madison and introduces her. Then he wraps everything up and ends another cool episode.

Now it's time for TODD'S CORNER!! ha ha!

Todd Arcana's Rating:     4.1 / 5.0    ^_^

This episode was a good one, but not  lot's of action and plenty of fun, the Shadow card should have been an episode that was aired earlier because it wasn't as girlish as Melvana thought. It also was a good episode for introducing a bit more on Kero and mainly, Madison.

PS: I think Partners In Crime is a really stupid name for this episode.
