That night, Sakura prepared some snacks for Julian and Tori. (I think they look like onions!) She gave them to Tori as an snack to help them cram for the exam and he thanked her, she babbled on incoherantly and was still talking after the door closed. She was totally embarrassed and griped about it to Kero and they go to bed. Later, they hear bells, loud ones and they ask what's going on and chalk it up to being broken.
In the morning, Kero loses all of his game data but that happens. Sakura go to school tomorrow and complete a music test. Madison told her "You just have to breathe!" and she starts huffing. Sakura messes up her test, and then complains about it to Madison. She sees Li playing the recorder as he hits the scene and uses his lightning speed to kick an out of bounds soccer ball right into the net.
Sakura practices more after school and Kero makes it his business to save his game. After dinner and the evening, they go to bed and then we see the time card playing with an hourglass and then the clock tower glows. Sakura gets up and Kero goes to his game, no data again (It happens!) Sakura goes to school and comments on how she practiced even after she blew it in the music test and Madison asked what she's talking about and that she'll do fine. Sakura gives her a wierd look.
The music test goes on and Sakura does it perfectly and Madison comments on it. Afterward, Sakura predicts everything happening and it does. Li comes out but is not playing his recorder and he walks up to Sakura and tells her that this is the work of the Time card. Here comes the soccer ball and Li hits it again!
That night, Sakura and Kero are going to investigate the clock tower. Madison dresses her up in a cute pixie like costume for "Undetected night flight" and they get to work. Sakura uses the fly card and assaults the clock tower from the air. Time took notice and uses the power of time to slow things down. Then he speeds everything up to mess up Sakura and stalls her enough to repeat the whole day.
The alarm goes off and Sakura goes off to school and does the same stupid things now three times in a row. Kero hates it and Sakura's irritated too.
Madison: "This outfit is for..."
Sakura: "Undetected night flight,
I know!"
Madison: "Wow! It's amazing how
you just get these things!"
Li appears and has a bandage on his nose. Sakura asks about it and Li hushes her, and they get to work. Instead of directly assaulting the clock tower, she takes a more secret route and Li goes up by way of grappling hook. Sakura confronts time and uses the shield card to protect herself and Kero from the effects of it. Li also busts in through a window. Time attempts to make its escape but Li zaps him with lightning ofudas. Sakura seals it and the card goes to Li. We see a shot of Li smirking with the card in his hand and Kero tells Sakura that not all the cards go to the person who seals them. (When I saw the shot of Li, I thought "You don't have to be smug about it...")
The next morning was a brand new day and Sakura asks about the spelling test to Madison and she tells her about how we have a spelling test first thing. Whoops!
KERO'S CORNER
Kero greets everyone
again with his speech on how he'll give the most top secret hush hush info
on card captors. He talks about Sakura's battle costume and he also talks
a little bit on Li. He then talks a little more and he wraps up the episode.
Todd's Word on it All
Todd Arcana's Rating: 4.0 / 5.0 ^_^
I liked this episode, it shows that Sakura will eventually have a good battle partner and maybe a little more. Li wasn't as mean to her as before but the hostility was still present. I think it was good that Li got the card because it's a powerful but draining card and it's good for someone who doesn't have any other clow cards to get in the way. Anyway, this was a good episode over all.
