Meilin came into the series
when Sakura and Li captured about twenty clow cards and she immediately
picked up on Sakura like a dog picks up on meat or food. Meilin is very
protective and possessive of Li and hates it when a rival butts in on them.

Meilin has no magical powers,
surprising since she's not from Li's family and she's always bent on proving
herself to him with every ounce of talent in her body. She's powerful at
martial arts and put up a tough fight against the fight card but she just
couldn't cut it against fights power. (I however, give her a point for
enthusiasm!)
