Sarasa and Shuri

Age: 17
Birth: August 6th
Sign: Leo

Prior to Shuri's birth, his father was told by a seer that if his
child was a male, the son would one day destroy him. When
the king saw that his baby was a male, to protect himself
from the prophescy, he branded his own son with the mark
of a slave and declared that Shuri was not of his blood, he
was his slave.

After that Shuri was cast out of the palace and instead he
lived with the family of his cousin, Shido. Shido and Shuri
grew up like brothers and Shido became Shuri's right hand
man when he became a king when they grew older. At the
age of 12, Shuri's father cut him a break and gave him the
south-western desert region of Japan to rule and prove
himself with.

During the first three years of Shuri's rule over his region
of Japan, Shuri layed back and let whatever happened
happen. Because of his lack of action and rule the area
soon became corrupt. The generals in the area started
taking advantage of their power. At the end of three
years, Shuri suddenly took action. He killed every general
that had proven himself disloyal and selfish by abusing
their power. Those three years had been intentional...
Shuri used it to rid his government of disloyal subordinates.
After that, with loyal men in his government, Shuri
accomplished many things for his land. He got rid of
slavery and his capital at Suou become a prosperous
and popular city under his reign. Despite his harshness
Shuri is a skilled tactician and a strong ruler. His actions are
often wise and well-calculated.

Shuri is known as the Red King to his people. He doesn't
get along with his father, obviously, and he also doesn't
get along with his older brothers. Each of his brothers rule
a part of Japan just like Shuri. They are known as the
Blue King, Black King, and etc. The Red King, Shuri, is
ruthless (he did suddenly kill all those generals) and
tyranical. One day he wants to rule ALL of Japan. Tatara
was a threat to him because he could have made Shuri's
people rebel and overthrow him. Also, Shuri hates all
prophesies and superstitions because his father cast him
away because of one. Part of his reasons for wanting
to kill Tatara is to prove that the prophesy of him being
a savior is wrong. So, Shuri had Tatara killed. But, a new
Tatara (Sarasa) appeared... and Shuri's main objective
became killing him.

Shuri has a playful and kind side to him. He's flirty and
confident of his good looks. When he's trying to win
a woman's heart, he can be actually be gentle! Shuri
might or might not be evil. One of his reasons for wanting
to rule all of Japan is because he wants to make it a
beautiful country again. He wants the desert under his
control to be covered with grass and trees again, like it
had been before the 21st century. Surely someone with
that dream can't be totally evil, can he?
