Who is Taichi Kamiya?
Taichi, or Tai as he is referred to in the dub, is the main character of the animated show Digimon. He is easily recognized by his hair and constantly present goggles (although in the second season he gives them to Daisuke >.< The picture above is really a picture of him in the second season. I'm working on getting on from the first season.).

Tai at first glance seems rather thick-headed, since he jumps into nearly every situation without thinking. As the series progresses, you learn that he's really just got a lot of heart and wants to get the job done. He's not the type to stand back and make a strategy, like Yamato or Koushiro. That's one of the reason's Matt's so good for him! Matt knows how to hold him back and knock some sense into that brain.
His family is very close and Tai loves his little sister a lot. He's just so cute with her! Like in the episodes where all the digi-destined and Myotismon were racing to find the eighth child in the real world...^_^ I love Tai and Kari. He loves his parents a great deal too. When they got back to the real world and Tai went home, he talked to his mom for a few moments, then she asked him for his dirty laundry and he just hugged her and said how happy he was to see her. He was crying too! Then his dad came over to see what was wrong and then Tai hugged his dad and cried....the expressions on their faces are hilarious... My favorite Kamiya family moment was either in that episode or the one right after it. Taichi was just scarfing down his dinner and his mom was staring at him with the strangest look on her face, and Kari and their dad were watching TV and laughing every two seconds then getting serious again, then laughing and getting serious again, then laughing and etc, etc, etc... I have this on tape and it makes me laugh really hard everytime I see it!!
My opinion of Tai is good. I really think he is a cutie and is very sweet. He seems a little clumsy with mushy stuff but not everyone's perfect.
