Usagi' s father is a journalist, that's why he gets an invitation for the ball of the Princess of the Dia Kingdom where he meets his disguised daughter. He is a kind and good hearted man, who likes to help his wife, so he goes shopping for her when he has the time. He drives with his family to the onsen for holiday because he and Ikuko have spent some time met there when they were young. Another day he goes to a virtual reality theater with Shingo, not the usual kind of entertainment for a man of his age, but he seems to have a lot of fun there. He is not an athletic hero but he wants to protect his family and so the doesn't hesitate to fight against the evil ghost from the lake and a cardian although he has no chances to win
