Hino Rei, or Raye in North America, was the fourth Senshi to be discovered, although it may seem she was the third (Sailor Venus was discovered by Artemis a year before). She lives at the Hino Temple with her grandfather. Her father is a traveling politician. She attends a private all-girls school. Her powers are inspired by fire. Rei is the owner of of two black crows. Rei also gets preminitions and such. She can often sense when there is evil or a bad spirit around. She can use the fire to see things and knows magical chants, etc. Her most common magic is when she uses small pieces of paper with an inscription on them to rid evil spirits. Rei is a Shinto priestess, and she does quite a lot of singing. She has a habit of fighting with Usagi often. Rei believes she should be the leader of the group.
