Zoisite was the third general to appear. He was the second weakest, and was under the training of Kunzite.

Zoisite's mission was to find the Silver Imperium Crystal. He got the seven Rainbow Crystals which was required to get the ginzuisho. Zoisite trapped Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, and the Silver Imperium Crystal appeared. Zoisite killed Tuxedo Mask, and Queen Beryl was so upset she killed Zoisite.

In the manga, Zoisite and Kunzite were straight. In the anime, Zoisite and Kunzite were homosexual lovers. In the American version, Zoisite was made into a girl so as to not confuse young veiwers.
