Sailor Saturn is known also as the Senshi of destruction. She is said to be the most powerful of the Senshi, with the ability to destroy entire planets.

Sailor Saturn first appeared at the end of Sailor Moon S, as Hotaru Tomoe. At that time both Sailor Saturn and Mistress 9 occupied her body and soul. With the help of Chibi Usa, she was able to defeat Mistress 9, releasing Sailor Saturn. Saturn then used her silence glaive to destroy Pharaoh Ninety.

Unfortunately the battle destroyed Saturn, but with the help of Sailor Moon she is reborn as an infant. Sailor Saturn is released from baby Hotaru and causes her to age much more quickly. She soon reaches the age at which she was killed and is Sailor Saturn in body, mind, and soul. A true Sailor Senshi.
