Would you believe me...?

Author's Notes: I'm depressed right now people, so this is going to be depressing. I think.

Rukawa woke up with a pounding headache and pain in almost every muscle of his body. As if someone had been twisting him into odd positions. His lower half ached the most, especially the area around his...
Rukawa sat up suddenly, clutching his head between his hands and trying to stop the world from spinning. His ice-colored eyes widened as he took in his disarrayed room, and felt his stomach twist even as his vision swam.
His clothes, which he'd been making a habit of throwing into an orderly pile in the corner of the room, were instead littering his floor, along with a set of clothes that he didn't recognize, except as a fuzzy memory that was too difficult to grasp. Chairs were overturned, and his desk was pushed against the corner. The alarm clock and lamp were on the floor, along with a dozen pencils and pens. His schoolbooks, which were always neatly placed on his nightstand, were instead thrown across the floor, open and the pages wrinkled.
What made him nauseous was his state. Sans clothes and aching all over, especially...
He shook his head wildly and looked slowly to his right, where the other half of his bed was usually empty.
Only this time it wasn't.
With a strangled cry Rukawa stumbled out of his bed, falling to his knees as the world bucked under him like a wild horse. His breathing slowed, then speed up to noisy wheezes as he continued to stare at the form before him.
"I-impossible..." Rukawa muttered between dry lips, tears swimming in his eyes as the full impact of what he'd done crashed down upon him.
He'd cheated on Hanamichi.
With Sendoh, of all people.
"Oh Kami-sama, kill me now."
No, that'd be the easy way out, and when does the Fox ever get an easy way out?
Never. And obviously this wasn't going to be an exception to the rule, since he was still living, breathing, whole, and the Earth wasn't making a move to swallow him up.
Sendoh turned over and his arm reached out, searching for his bed partner while muttering under his breath something that sounded like, "Hiro-kun..." Apparently Sendoh was in for a rude awakening as well.
Sendoh opened one eye, saw the empty bed, and sat up slowly. He noticed Rukawa, who still kneeled on the floor, head clutched between his fists.
At first, the only thing that showed in his eyes was utter confusion. Obviously the morning haze still hadn't cleared for the spiky-headed boy. Then shocked horror rippled through him and he fell back onto the bed, eyes squeezed shut.
"Please, when I open my eyes, this'll all be gone and I'll be at home."
"If only." Rukawa snorted scornfully, his eyes burning into the other boys' closed lids.
"Koshino's gonna kill me." Sendoh whimpered. "No, worse yet, he'll let me live."
"I'm not too happy about this either." Rukawa muttered, arms crossed over his bare chest.
"Did we really...?"
"All signs point to yes."
"Kuso."
"Duh."
"Do you remember it?"
"..." Rukawa frowned.
Sendoh opened his eyes and glared, really glared, at the other boy. "Well?”
"Don't you?"
"No." Sendoh laid his head back down and sighed.
"Me either."
"How drunk were you?"
"..."
Sendoh sat up, blinking to clear his vision. "Is conversation with you always as difficult as pulling teeth?'"
Rukawa shrugged, got up, and pulled on his boxers, then tossed the red silk, unfamiliar ones to Sendoh. "I can't hold my liquor. I only had two shots, a Long Island Iced Tea, and one glass of sake."
"That's it?" Sendoh pulled on the boxers, his back to Rukawa. "I don't remember how many drinks I had. Too many; I lost count."
"Do'aho, you deserve what you got."
"What do you mean?" Sendoh growled, yanking on his jeans.
"Getting that drunk."
"Look, if I deserved it, so did you. You knew you couldn't hold that much liquor."
"..." Rukawa could only pull on his shirt.
"Look, I'm going to go. I need to talk to Koshino." Without another word Sendoh stomped from the room, slamming the front door as he went.
Rukawa looked around his room, at the soiled bed to the messy floor to the overturned chairs. He started to clean up, now alone with his thoughts.
Hanamichi will kill me.
Did he have to tell him though? Rukawa barley remembered it, he wasn't sure if he could explain it all.
What he doesn't know won't hurt him...
