Wings of Poetry
Wings of Poetry
These are poems I myself wrote. Some of them my friend wrote/found and one is from A swiftly Tilting Planet.
A Swiftly Tilting Planet
In this fateful hour,
All heaven with its power
Sun with its brightness
Snow with its whiteness
Fire with all the strength it hath
Lightning with its rapid wrath
Wind with its swiftness
Sea with its deepness
Rocks with their steepness
Earth with its starkness
All these I place
Between myself and the powers of darkness

Mind of the Dreamer(by me)
Light like the moon,
Starlit sky
Light like the clouds
That pass me by
Light like the way it shines so bright
Bliss and hope when we don't have to fight
Dreams are what I see at night
Yet I still chase after morning light
Dreams are ideals, hopes, and it seems
One day I might break free and fly
To follow all means
Wings to fly on lightest air
Wings are passion, hope, and care
Wing let you fly away
Far past dawn and dusk and day
Hope is something you can't say
Warmth or fire on a winter day
Hope is something you can't touch
Yet it means so very much
This is a poem I wrote when I was feeling kind of depressed so it is kind of gloomy: Indifference
If the whole world were to hate me
Were the flowers to wilt through my aura
If the universe revolved around a single star
Wondering what the heck you are
If the world came crashing down like that
My vision would still be red
Or if I were to die
Through the wing of hell itself
Touched by the devil
And frozen by the ice
I'd be indifferent
If my life was a stormy night
OK so that was a bit...um...weird let's say. I'm also clearly stating now that i do not find h-e-l-with an extra l to be a swear word when you are talking about the PLACE not like what the _ _ _ _, that IS an expression of frustration, etc.
Hope you enjoyed this section. Let's fly home.
