Once a quiet, quaint town near Tokyo filled with martial arts of varying styles, it had in one year became the powerhouse for chaos ranging from superpowered martial artists to supernatural entities of all types.
It is reasonable to assume that citizens living there are immune to shock and only the sighting of Godzilla might stun them. Probably not for long. People there perhaps had to adopt a philosophical attitude to all this to keep their sanity and they most likely look at the happenings with interest and amusement rather than shock and fear. Tourists, however, might not be so lucky.
There are many places of interest in Nerima and the main ones are the ones that attract the most chaos. Here are some of the places one might like to visit if they were extremely brave or extremely crazy (if you're both, then you'll be in good company! ) :
This school is very unique and could be hazardous to your health if you're not careful. Classes will be perfectly normal if you watch out for Principal Kuno, a man obsessed with anything Hawaiian and with cutting hair. He's known for being able to shave a student bald within seconds or making people do next to impossible tasks for his own twisted amusement so be careful.
The other person to look out for is Miss Hinako, a disciplinarian who enforces order with her ability to suck out the energy of any unrowdy student. Combined with the chaos Kuno, Ranma, Akane, and Ukyou create, this could be an interesting and terrifying experience. -Nekohanten
The Cat Cafe is a good place to eat if you're in the mood for ramen. A nice place to see some amazing feats of food distribution and good entertainment in general. You will be served by a beautiful purple haired woman, but be careful not to show too much interest in her or you'll have to deal with her jealous suitor, a man wearing a white robe and incredibly thick glasses. He may not look like much of a threat, but if he suddenly pulls out a scimitar, don't say I didn't warn you...
-Ucchan's
A more ordinary place to eat... most of the time. The place to go if you want some very good okonomiyaki and a kind person to talk to. The sight of the owner, a girl with a big metal spatula strapped to her back may be a bit surprising, but it won't be as shocking as meeting Tsubasa, master of disguise.
Be wary, the jukebox you try to put a coin into may not be a jukebox at all, but an Ukyou-obsessed crossdresser who can literally make himself look like anything. If you're really lucky, none of Nerima's chaotic martial artists will stop by and destroy the establishment while you're eating. It upsets the owner and you really don't want to see her mad! -Tendo Dojo
This place makes Furinkan High looks tame! No training hall anywhere has probably seen more action or craziness. It is not known if students are actually taught here, but an absurd number of fighters do pass on by, usually to either fight Ranma or to assault or kidnap Akane for a variety of reasons. The dojo has taken many beatings in its time, but somehow it always manages to be repaired in time for its next date with destruction.

Insurance rates for property damage must be exceptionally high and people who live in Nerima must be well off to afford it. One must wonder why they bother to fix the damage at all seeing how in a day their walls, doors, etc., will once again be destroyed. It'd be nice to assume that people who cause damage pay for some of it though that's unlikely though causing low crime rates should make up for some of that. It would explain why they weren't arrested by now. Or maybe a Nabiki Tendo cut a deal with insurance companies and/or police! She and other citizens of Nerima probably have repair shops on retainer.
Speaking of which, why no one has ever been arrested to anime knowledge. Well, all characters just attack each other and others never press charges since they don't want the police involved. It'd be hard to get evidence and prove some of the things these people do. No Nerimian usually gets hurt so actually, they martial artists are pretty much outside of the law. Well, they disturb the peace but what officer would try to arrest them?!
Besides, what the heck would they be charged with? I don't believe it's legally possible to destroy a building with the tap of a finger or to cause property damage with the creation of tornadoes out of nowhere!
Anyway, the people of Nerima must be more tolerant and lenient than big city type people. Besides, think of the business this place gets from people who want to see these strange events firsthand!
