These are my descriptions of the characters in the anime which I feel like writing about. It makes things easier for me to just use one version. I think each character is very interesting and more complex than some people make them out to be. Their quirks and eccentricities make them seem more real to me, though that might be because I'm rather eccentric myself. Making this site proves that. But hey, being normal is overrated!
As I said before, the bios will be rather opinionated since I'm a person who likes to put what he thinks. I know this could be rather confusing to people since sometimes it's hard to tell fact from opinion so I'll do my best to keep them separate. I abhor stereotypes of any kinds so be prepared for long, lengthy lectures. (Whoa! Cool alliteration! Aren't you so glad that your tax dollars are paying for my education?) Seriously, the martial artists of Nerima can not be held to the normal standards of society as they are a category unto their own.
The cool thing about series are that each new show can show you a new aspect to a character, thus keeping them familiar but new too. That means I might not only add new characters to this list but I might consider updating old ones. I have found some cool anime characteristics lists at Lord Archive's Fanfiction Page. They explain the things that show up so many times in different anime series and what kind of sense they make from a Japanese animator's point of view. Check out Anime 101: Basic Characteristics and Anime 102: Romantic Entanglements for some information which may explain why some Ranma 1/2 characters act the way they do.
