Miaka and Yui returned home after their adventure in the book. Neither of them got into Juuban, but, I guess, it was a good thing because they got to go to the same school AND they meet a handsome young college student named Taka. Taka is, of couse, the sexy reincarnation of Miaka's love, Tamahome. After High School, Miaka and Taka got married and had two children, a son and a daughter, whom they called Akiko. The son, well, he's not in this story, so we say he died in a car crash. About a year after Akiko's birth, a close friend of Miaka and Taka's dies, leaving a little baby girl. Miaka and Taka adopt her, naming her Himiko. Their daughters are now a Second and First Year students at Juuban High School and are about to stumble on a hidden treasure. . . .
