• Hair (color/length): Golden blond with dove grey streaks (almost reaches his knees, but he keeps it braided and coiled so it's out of the way) There were nasty rumors when he was very young that he might have been Nakago's son... but they were just rumors with no truth behind them.
• Height: 5'9" and very slim, he can easily be mistaken for a teenage girl
• Magic (if any): Ice magic and a cold wind are at his command, his is also unnaturally fast and graceful because the wind effect adds to theses abilities. He has a white Byakko symbol that means 'cold wind' on his thigh
• Weapons: Swords, naginata, knives, fists and feet (he's ambidextrous), he also knows basic military strategy and tactics
• Hobbies/Likes: Painting, writing poetry, dancing at festivals, thoroughly trouncing bullies, flirting with pretty girls--or attractive men, he can't make up his mind what he wants and his mind is as ambiguous as his own looks.

• History: Son of a Kutou nobleman--one of Kutou's lesser generals serving Nakago--and a concubine, Li grew up amidst the intrigue of his father's home. Though he was good at staying out of everyone's way and remaining a shadow in his father's house, Li was under constant vigilance against his older brothers and their cruelty since he was their favorite punching bag for many years--being the youngest (hence his utter hatred of bullies). Trained in the arts of war, Li also found time to learn more peaceful pass-times at his mother's side, though he was often strongly discouraged in such 'feminine' pursuits.

  Because his father refused to clearly name any of his sons as his heir, all of his sons--except Li--were vying for their father's attention. Li however was trying not to draw any attention because--by the time he was 12--he already knew he was just not cut out for life with his 'family'. Then, late one night shortly after his 19th birthday, he noticed a strange glowing mark on his thigh. Puzzled, he stared at it wondering what it was. And then realization dawned on him! It was the legends come to life once more, and he was one of the Byakko shichi seishi! A Byakko seishi born in Kutou to a man who wouldn't understand having a non-Seiryuu son!

  He was able to hide the truth from everyone in the household for several days, mostly because few people paid him much attention since his mother was dead. And then, a few days later one of his brothers saw mark and ran to tell their father. Li, knowing what would happen when his father discovered the truth--after all the old man was still muttering about the family's losses during the War--Li saddled a horse and fled into the night, taking what valuables he had and the little bit of money he had saved. He'd always known that some day he'd be on his own, it had just come much sooner than he'd anticipated and under far stranger circumstances!
