Ranma Nibunnoichi Bangou Ichi
This was the very first issue of "Ranma Nibunnoichi." It tells how our dear Ranma-Kun came to Tokyo to meet his new bride... The trouble is, while on a training trip to China with his Otou-San, Saotome Genma, young Ranma-Kun falls into the Pool of Drowned Maiden at Jusenkyo, so now every time he is splashed with cold water, he turns into a girl! Oh, my! This did not please his iinazuke (fiancee), Tendou Akane, my imouto-chan! Nabiki-Chan and I were very afraid of Ran-Chan at first, so we both jumped behind Akane-Chan and said that she ought to be the one to marry poor Ran-Chan! All Akane-Chan could do was say, "Why me? Why do I have to marry that... that pervert!?! Nabiki-Chan then explained that since Akane-Chan does not like boys, she should be the one to marry Ran-Chan, as Ran-Chan was only a boy half the time!
Ranma Nibunnoichi Bangou Ni
The second fantastic issue of "Ranma Nibunnoichi" features the origin of little P-Chan who is actually the cursed form of Hibiki Ryouga-San! He and Ranma-Kun had gone to school together previously, and Ryouga-Kun had a score to settle! Poor Ryouga-Kun has the worst sense of direction! He had even managed to get lost on his way to the cafeteria. When he finally got there, Ranma-Kun had already taken the last piece of noodle bread! This infuriated Ryouga-Kun who immediately challenged him for it! Thus was born a lasting hatred between Ryouga-Kun and our dear Ranma-Kun. Of course, when Ryouga-Kun first sees Akane-Chan he falls in love with her! Poor Akane-Chan already had enough trouble at school! A pack of boys fight her every morning so that the one who defeats her will be able to go out on a date with her! They are led by the nefarious Kunou Tatewaki who is the kendo champion of Fuurinkan Koukou!
Ranma Nibunnoichi Bangou San
Things only got worse between Ryouga-Kun and Ranma-Kun after that! During a fight at school, Ryouga-Kun uses one of his bandanas as a weapon and accidentally cuts off Akane-Chan's hair! Oh, my! Poor Akane-Chan was so very proud of her long black hair! Now it was even shorter than Nabiki-Chan's! Akane-Chan then decided that it was somehow Ranma-Kun's fault! If that were not bad enough, Kurobara Kodachi, (Kodachi the Black Rose) meets Ranma-Kun and immediately develops a crush on him! Goodness! Kodachi-San attacks Akane-Chan in her own bedroom! She challenges Akane-Chan after she beats up the entire Martial Arts Rhythmic Gymnastics team of Fuurinkan Koukou! During her Rhythmic Gymnastics training, Akane-Chan is hurt, so guess who has to take her place?
