On a sunny July morning, Hannah woke up to find her sister listening to the radio like she always did. Tria started to shout. Hannah covered her ears. She told her to stop and why was she shouting? Tria said she didn't know why. Hannah dressed and went down to the breakfast table. 'Why can't I have a normal 15 year old's life? My 10 year old sister ruins it, I guess...' She thought. Hannah finished her cereal and went down to the harbor. She sat, legs dangling from the wooden boards. She heard footsteps that told her she wasn't alone. It was only Seana, her best friend. Suddenly, Hannah felt a strong gust of wind blow through her hair and was blown away to a land she would never forget. She found herself floating in a dark sky, with a strange feeling in her head like she was going to faint. Suddenly, she could just make out bluish green pigtails and red hair ribbons. Tria! She heard a strange voice in her head, and suddenly was engulfed by a shadow streaked with color. She heard the voice again. 'Quest Sage Haltra, are you willing to save Sormaren? You must or you will never return to your own dimension. You need armor and a way of transport. Take these!' A silver stallion with blue flames upon its hooves stood before Hannah. She found a sheath on her hip and armor across her chest. She looked up tgo see a magenta and blue headpiece atop her jet black hair. She looked over at Tria. She also had armor. But she sat upon a gray tiger. They fell down upon a brown soil and sitting in front of a castle made of black crystal. A small girl with light brown hair, wearing a pink-lavendar dress stood before them. She had a small headpiece with the Japanese character for 'Love' stroked upon it. She spoke to Tria first. "Tescrisha, legendary Quest Sage, please help Haltra look after your guardian fairy. She will help you when you need it and will teach you magic when she feels you are ready. Haltra, please look after Karmas. Oh, forgive me...I have not yet introduced myself. I am Princess Zeraklin of Sormaren. The world is currently in a state of chaos because of something....I fear I do not know what. Come inside the castle. Oh! Foreshill and Zeikren! How nice to see you...Foreshill, into the stables. Zeikren, the fields. I must guide these two inside." When the princess lead them into the castle, they were amazed. Scarlet and silver tapestries hung from all walls. The wood was varnished and sanded. The ceilings must have been at least 50 feet high. The princess spoke. "Please, come meet my mother. She will be able to explain everything." They walked into a room with even higher ceiling and gold tapestry. A spindly, tall lady in a cobalt dress walked up to them. She spoke. "Legendary Quest Sages, summoned from another dimension by the dimension itself, please save Sormaren. I grant both of you a spell. Tescrisha, I grant you Ice Bolt. Haltra, I grant you Lightning Strike. Combined, those attacks are deadly. Karmas will teach you more later." Secretly, Hannah and Tria wondered what was with the names...Haltra and Tescrisha? They had always believed their names were Hannah and Tria. Maybe their names were Haltra and Tescrisha in another world. They followed the princess upstairs.
