characters belong to me and I just used them to expand

Finding Lost Love.

A girl with long blue/black hair was standing in front of 
a building with scared look on her face.  She held in her 
hand a paper with note on it and she would take a look at 
it every minute or two.

'I can't believe I finally find you.  It has been 5 years 
since I last saw you.  I wanted to see you so much'

The girl wanted to knock on the door and meet the person 
inside but fear prevent her from doing that.

She wanted so much to knock on the door and have the person 
come out and greet her with a smile, but the other possibility 
of that same person turning on her, instead of smile a frown, 
scared her.

She stilled remembered every detail of the person in the house.  
His black hair which was tied in a pig tail style.  His red 
Chinese shirt that he liked to wear, so much like what she 
have on now.  

His blue eyes, and smile which she missed more than anything 
else.

It has been 5 years since she last saw those blue eyes or 
that smile.  She wanted to see them again.

With resolve and determination in her eyes, she went up to 
the door and knocked and waited.

She didn't have to wait long because the door was open 
revealing a figure of a young man, a handsome one at that.

"Can I help you?"

Akane was rather disappointed.  She wanted to see Ranma, but 
the person who open the door wasn't him.

"Um... Does Ranma Saotome live here?"

"Sure, he's my roommate.  He's not here at the moment, would 
you like to come in?"

"Of course thank you"

The man walked her inside of the house.  It was rather nice 
house.  As they were walking, she looked around the house to 
see if she can see Ranma in any of them.

As Akane was walking around, the man was checking the girl out.  
She was pretty with long blue/black hair.  She had nice body 
and she had cute face.

'I wonder what she want with Ranma'

Akane sat down in one of the chair to wait for Ranma.  Her 
heart was pounding.  She was actually here, in the place where 
Ranma lived.  It took her 5 years to find it, with combine 
effort of her, Nabiki, and Dr. Tofu.

"Miss.  Would you like something to drink?"

"Thank you, and call me Akane"

That made the guy look at her in strange light.

"You are Akane?  Akane Tendo?"

This did not sit well with Akane.  He seem to recognize her name.  
That wasn't always good.  Ranma might have told him to not let 
her in the house or that he didn't want to see her.

She was gripped with fear of those possibility when she answered 
him.

"Yes, I'm Akane Tendo"

"Wow.  Hey, nice to meet you, I'm Kojiro Tanaka.  Ranma has 
told me a lot about you and your family"

Akane was worried about what Ranma has told Kojiro.

'What has he told him?'

"Ranma said you were cute.  He wasn't being very good to you, 
you are very beautiful"

"Ranma said I'm cute?"

Kojiro had to frown at this a little.  It seems that his 
comment about her being beautiful had gone no where.  She 
was too focused on what he told her about what Ranma said.

"Yeah, he said you were cute and that your family was great 
people"

'He said I was cute.  He never told me that in person.  Why 
would he though?  I didn't give him any reasons or a chance to'

Kojiro could tell that Akane was getting upset for some 
reason and he tried to comfort her.

"Um... Akane, what's wrong?  Are you feeling ok?  Do you 
need something?"

"No, it's ok.  It's nothing"

'Nothing but regret and lost opportunity'

Akane was trying hard not to cry in front of this stranger 
she just met when they both heard the door open and close.

"Hey, Kojiro who's here?  I see there is an unfamiliar 
shoes here"

Ranma walked into the house talking to Kojiro when he saw 
something that he never expected to see ever again.

In the living room where he lived with Kojiro was the last 
person he thought he'll see.  He saw Akane.

"What?"

Akane couldn't say anything.  Ranma had changed for the better.  
He was taller, and better looking.  He was darker and that 
somehow made him look better and it brought his blue eyes.

He looked so good it brought tears to her eyes.

She wanted to run into his arms and cry and hold onto him.  
She wanted him to hold onto her.

"Akane?"

She couldn't do anything but nod her head to let him know 
that it was indeed her that he saw in front of him.

Ranma couldn't believe it.  In front of him was Akane.  
She had changed.  She grew her hair out.  She also grew 
little taller and she filled out.  She was now a full woman, 
not like the 16-year-old high school girl that he last saw, 
but a fully-grown woman.

"What are you doing here?  Didn't we say all we had to say 
to each other last time we saw each other?"

That woke Akane from her state.

"No"

"No?  What do you mean no?  I thought we said all we had to 
say to each other.  We agreed that we'll never see each other 
again.  We established the fact that you hated me and that I 
wasn't welcome in your life"

"No!"

Akane was growing desperate.  This wasn't how she wanted 
things to go.  She wanted to see his smile, she wanted to 
see his warm eyes, she wanted to reach out and hug him 
and have him hug her back.

"Akane, you can't do this, you can't toss me out and show 
up out of the blues after agreeing that we should never see 
each other"

"NO!"

Akane yelled out.  She had to stop him from saying those things.  
They weren't true.

"Akane what..."

"Ranma listen.  We didn't say all we had to say 5 years ago.  
You just assumed everything, said things that made me realize 
what I was doing and left without even letting me talk"

"That's not true, you said all you had to say many times before 
that.  Remember?  You also told me that you hated me, you 
always said that you will never marry a pervert like me"

"Ranma, no!  Let me explain.  Let me say things that I couldn't 
say 5 years ago.  Don't shut me out"

"Akane, there really isn't anything more to say between us you 
know"

"THERE IS!"

By this time Akane was crying.  Things weren't going like how 
she wanted to.

Kojiro who was watching from the background knew something was 
up when Ranma and Akane first made eye contact.

"Um... I'll go get something to eat"

With that he left the room feeling rather uncomfortable.

Seeing that Akane was crying, Ranma's heart went out to her.  
Although it has been 5 years, he still had some feelings for 
her and he never got over his weakness for seeing a girl in 
tears.

"Akane, don't cry.  It's ok, when you feel better, I'll help 
you go back to your house"

Akane decided that she needed to do something.  So she ran 
over to where Ranma was and hugged him.  It was more like a 
glomp that Shampoo used to use.

Ranma didn't understand what was going on.  Akane was here in 
his house and now she was giving him a reminder of what Shampoo 
was like 5 years ago.

"Akane?  What are you doing?"

"Ranma, I've looked for you for 5 years.  The least you can 
do is listen to what I have to say"

Akane told him whiling hugging him with the tears coursing 
down her cheeks.

Ranma couldn't help but crumble before those tears.

"Ok, I'll listen"

Akane was relived, finally chance to set things right.

"Ranma, remember what happened 5 years ago? The day you left?"

"Yeah"

Flashback...5 years ago...

"Ranma you jerk?  How could you fondle Shampoo like that in 
front of me?"

"Akane, I told you, I wasn't fondling her, she grabbed me 
and"

"Shut up!  I don't want to hear your lies anymore.  I hate 
you!"

With that Akane hit him with her mallet and sent him upward 
and out.

That night when Akane calm down a little, she thought about 
what happen that day and knew that Ranma wasn't really at 
fault.  However, knowing something and admitting to it was 
two different things.

She was walking down stairs to get something to drink when 
she heard something from Ranma's room.  

She of course being really suspicious of Ranma, thought that 
something was going on.

'If he has another girl in that room, he dies tonight'

Akane carefully open the door to Ranma's room to look inside 
only to see something that she really didn't want to see.

Inside the room was Genma panda knocked out cold and tied up 
and Ranma with a backpack.  Room was clean of all his stuff.  
From this it wasn't very hard to figure out what was going on.

"Ranma!  What do you think you are doing?"

When Akane yelled and came in, Ranma turned and looked at her.  
When Akane saw Ranma's eyes, she knew something was wrong.  
She saw a look in his eyes that she never wanted to see again.

"Akane, I'm making your wish come true"

"W..what are you talking about Ranma?  What wish?"

"Your wish that I would be gone from your life"

"WHAT!"

Akane couldn't believe what she heard.  She couldn't have 
heard it right, she must have heard it wrong.

"What did you say?"

"I'm leaving Akane.  I finally realized that you truly do 
hate me and that I don't belong here.  I don't belong in your 
life"

'RANMA!'

"W...what?"

"I should have figured it out, I should have known that you 
hated me from the first day.  From the first day when you 
hit me with the table.  I should have known.  You gave me 
enough hints as to how you felt about me.  You even said 
that I was your worst nightmare"

"I..I never..."

"I didn't wanted to believe it.  I don't know, at first I 
needed a friend and you asked me to be your friend I thought 
that finally I was going to get a friend.  When you turned 
on me, I still thought we could be friends.  But it was all 
a dream, a foolish dream.  Now I know better"

"R..Ranma"

"Now I know that you hate me.  You said it so many times I 
can't believe I didn't believe you.  I'm sorry I didn't 
believe it before, but now I believe it and I'll leave."

'RANMA NO!'

Akane wanted to shout out, grab him, hold him down, do 
something.  But she couldn't.  She was frozen by what 
Ranma was telling her and his sad and defeated eyes.  

'God no!  Please Ranma!'

"Good bye Akane, you'll never see me again"

With that Ranma jumped through the open window and was gone 
from Tendo house and gone from Nerima.

Akane watched him go.  Paralyzed with shock and not able to 
stop him from leaving.  She watched Ranma leave her, and 
heard him say that she'll never see him again.

Finally Akane broke free from her shocked state and shouted 
as loud as she can.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

This woke up everybody in the household and caused them to 
come running to Ranma's room as Akane was making her way 
out side.

"RANMA!  RANMA COME BACK!"

Akane ran into the group that was headed to Ranma room 
causing them to fall over.

Akane didn't seem to be bothered by it much, as she got up 
again, trying to get outside to look for Ranma.

"RANMA!"

"Akane what's wrong?"

"Akane what did Ranma do to you this time?"

Akane wanted to go out and find Ranma, but the people in 
front of her, her family was getting in the way.

"RANMA"

That was all she could do, she was desperate.  She had to 
get out there and catch him before he's gone for good.  

Family didn't understand what was going on.  Nabiki went 
into the guestroom where Ranma and Genma were staying.  
She looked around and knew what happened.

It seems that Ranma had ran away and Akane had finally 
realized how she felt about Ranma.

Akane couldn't take the stress anymore and collapsed before 
Soun's arms.

Back to the present...

"Ranma, when you left, I wanted to stop you, I wanted to 
tell you something but you never gave me the chance to"

"Akane, there is nothing more to say.  I already told you, 
I understand everything.  I know that you hated me and I know 
that you thought that I was your worst nightmare come true"

"Ranma!  That's not true!"

Ranma had to look at Akane because of the harsh tone that she 
used.

"Ranma, I'm not sure where you got the idea that I considered 
you my worst nightmare..."

"You said it.  You told Nabiki that I was your worst nightmare.  
It happen the day I went to school for the first time.  
I heard you telling Nabiki that I was your worst nightmare"

When Ranma told her about it, Akane remembered.  It was a 
long time ago, but she wasn't likely to forget anything 
having to do with Ranma.

"Ranma...I'm sorry.  I didn't mean it"

"No, I know you meant it.  It's ok"

"NO!  I didn't mean it.  I was angry about the engagement 
being forced upon me.  I was angry with Nabiki with all her 
teasing and I was angry at you.  I thought you deceived me 
with your curse"

"Akane, I told you, I already understand everything.  It's 
ok now, you can go back"

"NO!  You don't understand anything!  Ranma I love you!"

"HUH??"

"Ranma... I love you.  I loved you for a long time.  I'm not 
sure when I started to fall in love with you, but I love you.  
When you left me I wanted to stop you, but I couldn't, I 
was frozen.  After you left me, I waited for you to come 
back to me for 6 months"

"Huh?"

"Ranma, after you left me, I wanted to go after you, but 
people, my family and your father stopped me from going 
after you.  They kept telling me that when you cool down 
enough and had a chance to think by yourself for a while, 
you will come back.  I waited for you, everyday, hopping 
that you will come back the next day or go to sleep 
thinking that you'll be there when I wake up"

Ranma was listening to what Akane was telling him, she had 
that soulful look in her eyes, and so much pain.

"I waited for you to come back everyday for 6 months, but 
you didn't.  You disappeared as suddenly as you appeared.  
You were there and you were gone the next"

"Akane..."

"No, let me finish.  After 6 months, it was clear that you 
weren't coming back to us, so I decided to go after you 
myself.  I asked for help and Nabiki and Tofu agreed to 
help me.  I find out who my friends were when this happened"

"Huh?  What do you mean?"

"Well, when I asked for help my family, except for daddy 
agreed to help me.  Dad won't do a thing because he is 
just a lazy and basically worthless in anything but sitting 
at home and play shogi all day long"

"Well, that's not really true, your dad is not that bad of a 
person.  He is a nice person and he is a loving father..."

"Ranma, when you were gone, he tried to set me up with other 
guys so the school will have a male heir!"

"Well, he was doing what he thought was best"

"He was doing what he thought was best for the school and for 
himself!  He didn't really care about what I wanted or what 
I was feeling!"

"Ok... if you say so"

"I didn't agree with daddy and I almost had to physically 
hurt him to agree to leave me alone.  Kasumi agreed to help 
me, but she couldn't do much.  Nabiki helped me a lot with 
her resources and her connections, but even she couldn't 
help me find you fast enough.  You were a hard person to 
track down.  Dr. Tofu helped me.  He thought that person of 
your abilities and with your ability to attract trouble, 
there will be lot of hospital visit that you will or someone 
involved with you will take"

"Huh?  Dr. Tofu?"

"Yes, Kasumi knew where he was and she contacted him for me"

"Oh"

"He spread the news to all his doctor friends and hospital 
to look out for you, but that didn't help much either"

"Well, after I left Nerima, I didn't need to visit the hospital 
as much.  I mean, there was no malleting, no poisoning, or 
any random attack by rivals..."

"I'm sorry Ranma.  I realized now that how much trouble for 
it was for you to live in Nerima.  We all blamed you for 
all the trouble that you brought with you, but even without 
you, there already was craziness there"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, for one thing, I was already fighting hordes of boys 
in the morning as well as Kuno.  And without your interference, 
sooner or later he could have beaten me.  There is also the 
fact that Kodachi Kuno was still around even without you.  
I don't know what would have happened if you weren't there 
to help me with the Gymnastic events.  Not to mention the 
Golden Pair.  Mikado could actually have kissed me"

"Hmmm..."

"Don't you see Ranma, you were a convenient escape goat for 
everyone.  Craziness happened right after you came and it 
was easy to blame everything on you, when it was, most of 
them, were a coincidence"

"No, that's not entirely true, I did bring lot of craziness.  
I did after all bring Ryoga, Ukyou, Shampoo, the old ghoul, 
Moouse, and possibly others"

"Ranma, although it's true that you did bring Ryoga and Ukyou 
and Shampoo and the Amazons.  If we didn't have you, what 
do you think would have happened if you didn't show up with 
all your rivals when Happosai showed up?  What do you think 
would have happened with Tarou when he came looking for 
Happosai?  What do you think would happened..."

Ranma wasn't really convinced that without him, things might 
have turned out even worse.  For almost a year when he was 
living in the Tendo home, it seems that everybody blamed him 
for everything that was wrong with the world.

"I'm not sure..."

"Ranma, you have to trust me on this one.  After you left, 
I thought about it for a long time and I've decided that, 
because of you, we maintained what little sanity we had in 
our lives.  Without you, it could have turned out much worse.  
Without you, I probably will still be a boy hating girl who 
would be with, Kuno, Mikado, Happosai or any number of other 
men"

Akane shuddered at the thought.  She couldn't stand it.  She 
couldn't stand the thought that she would be with anybody but 
Ranma.

"Ranma, please, I'm sorry about what happened when you left.  
I'm sorry I didn't tell you before.  Ranma, I love you.  
I love you lots"

When Akane said it, she had silent tears running down her face.  
She wanted to see some kind of reaction from Ranma.  
Anything except what he was doing right now.  Just sitting 
there and staring at her.

Akane's heart almost stopped when Ranma got up and walked 
over to where she was sitting.  Her heart leaped at joy 
when he reached down and took hold of her, standing her up.  
She wanted to call the priest and get married when he gave 
her a hug.  It was what she wanted, waited for 5 years.  
Finally she was in the arms of the man she loved.

However, the hug was rather strange.  Of course, she was 
hugging him with all her might, however, Ranma's hug was 
rather light and it seems like he was actually searching 
for something.

"R..Ranma?  What are you doing?"

"Huh?"

"Ranma, what are you doing?"

"Oh, well, I'm just looking for something"

"Ranma, what are you looking for?"

"Akane?"

"Yes?"

"Why haven't you called me a pervert yet?"

That almost made her laugh, cry at the same time.  She 
just finished telling him that she loved him and that 
she had changed and he was asking her why she wasn't 
calling him a pervert.

"Ranma... I told you... I love you"

When she gave that answer, he went back to hugging her.  
This time, Akane thought that Ranma was convinced when he 
started to do the same thing as before.

"Ranma!  What are you doing?"

"Huh?"

"Ranma, tell me what you are looking for?"

"Oh well, I'm looking for the reversal jewel"

"Reversal jewel?"

Akane knew what he was talking about.  That episode with 
Shampoo, she was not likely to forget.  What she didn't 
know was why he was looking for it now.

"Ranma, why are you looking for the reversal jewel now?"

"Well, last time you told me you loved me, only time you 
told me you loved me, was when you were under the influence 
of the reversal jewel.  When you took it off, you punched 
me out of the Cat Cafe and told me I was living in a dream 
world.  So..."

Akane remembered what he was talking about.  Of course, 
she regretted after she done it.  After all, he did call 
her cute while he was talking.  She was just angry at 
him at the time.

'He doesn't believe me...  He doesn't believe that I love him.  
What can I do to convince him?'

She was thinking about it, when and idea hit her.  Which 
she carried it out almost instantly.

She grabbed Ranma and forcefully kissed him while stripping 
out of her clothes.  Leaving only her bra and panty.  

Ranma was surprised to say the least.  First Akane kissed 
him, and was kissing him rather forcefully, and now she 
was out of her clothes and was practically naked in his arms.

Kojiro was coming back in with cold drinks when he walked 
into this rather strange sight.  

"Uh... Don't mind me"

With that he walked back out to leave the couple alone.

"Akane!"

Ranma said breaking the kiss.

"Well Ranma, try to find the reversal jewel now.  See, it's 
not on me.  I really do love you Ranma.  I searched for you 
for 5 years.  Please believe me"

Akane said it, with red blush on her face.  Of course with 
her state of dress, you could see that the blush went all 
the way to her chest area.

"Akane... are you serious?"

"Yes Ranma.  Ever since you left, I knew it.  I'm sorry, I 
love you"

"Akane... I, I tried to forget you.  I tried really hard, 
I thought you hated me and I knew that it was best for me to forget you"

"Ranma, I'm sorry, I never hated you.  Please"

"Akane, are you sure about this?"

"Ranma!  I searched for you for 5 years!  I just told you 
I love you, and I'm practically naked in front of you.  
What more do you want?"

"Uh..."

"Ranma!"

"Ok ok...  I'm sorry too.  I guess I should have opened up 
to you more.  I know that I wasn't the most sociable person 
around back then.  Heck, I'm still not used to living with 
lot of people.  I guess I should have listen to you more."

"Ranma?"

"What I'm trying to say is that, I tried to forget you, I 
tried hard, but I never could.  You were always on my mind"

"Ranma?"

Akane was looking deep into Ranma's blue eyes.  Blue eyes 
that carried spark in them.  She was hoping against hope 
and his words were giving that hope nutrition and sunlight 
to grow.

"I love you to Akane"

'YES!'

With that mental shout, she jumped into his arms to re-engaged 
in the kiss.  

It seem like the kiss would go on forever, but eventually 
they had to come up for air and the kiss was broken.

"Ranma, will you... will you come back with me?"

"Akane, I'm not sure.  I have made myself a new life here 
with new friends and new job"

"Oh, what do you do for a job Ranma?"

"My job?"

"Yes, you job"

"I'm a...I'm..."

"Ranma!  Spit it out!"

"I'm a male exotic dancer"

"YOU ARE WHAT!!!!"

"I'm a dancer"

"RANMA SAOTOME!"

"Akane?"

"HOW COULD YOU!"

"Akane?!"

"WHAT!"

"Just kidding"

"RANMA NO BAKA!!!!"

Note:

This I didn't send it to pre-readers.  It was a one shot 
idea that came to me one day and just won't leave me.  I 
tried really hard to get over it, but it won't leave me 
alone.  I had to write it.  I know it's kind of strange 
and it's weird.  But all I can say is that these little 
men in my head won't leave me along until I wrote it.

I now have my own web page.  I just got it done and it 
really sucks.  However it does have all my fanfics.
