Davis is trying to convince the others that Ken is one of them and should join the group now, but the others aren't agreeing. Davis wants Ken to come meet the other digidestined, but he's feeling reluctant to. Mimi is caring for a pack of Yokimibotamon, and Palmon is out getting some marshmallows when she spots a mysterious lady who turned a control spire into an evil Digimon with a strand of her hair. As Palmon runs back to try to warn Mimi, Golemon, the evil control spire Digimon ambushes them. Golemon starts heading toward the dam to destroy the town. The other digidestined come to help Mimi, but even they are having trouble defeating it. Golemon breaks a hole in the dam, and a tidal wave of water is heading for the town, but with the digidestined's quick thinking, they are able to stop the water. But, just as they do that, Golemon goes at it again. They decide the only way to save the innocent Digimon in the town, is to destroy Golemon. Palmon finally wakes up and explains that Golemon isn't a real Digimon, and with the help of Stingmon and Aquilamon who digivolved from Hawkmon for the first time, they are able to defeat the evil control spire Golemon and save the town. But even after all that, Ken is still reluctant hesitant to join. Will Ken ever join the digidestined?
