Episode 78: If I Had a Tail Hammer
While Ken is in bed, he is visited by a mysterious woman who scolds him for failing to conquer the Digital World. The digidestined finish up cleaning Primary Village. They're going around picking up the mess the Digimon Emporer left behind. None of them seem to ever want to forgive Ken for what he did. The next day when they go back, none of them seem to be able to digivolve, strangely. Are the control spires active again? Cody and Digmon are cleaning up underground, when suddenly an angry Thundermon starts attacking them for no reason. Digmon dedigivolves to Armadillomon, them somehow digivolves to Anklyomon, Armadillomon's champion level form. Cody is about to be destroyed by Thundermon when he is rescued by a mysterious, big, green bug Digimon. The new, insect-like Digimon vaporizes the evil Thundermon, to the shock of the digidestined. Suddenly, Ken is seen again, and the big green Digimon, dedigivolves into Wormmon and falls into Ken's arms. The mysterious Digimon was Ken's, but what was Ken doing back in the Digital World? They suddenly notice that the control spire dissappeared a little before Armadillomon was able to digivolve.
