Ken, the Digimon Emporer has been depressed and thinking about his past life. The digidestined decide to confront Ken outside the Digital World. Back at Ken's apartment, his parents find he's run away from home. The digidestined think they konw where Ken is though... the Digital World. They find that Ken is taking over the Digital World faster than ever and they are determined to find him and stop him. They come to a firey land and encounter a band of Meramon. Veemon armordigivolves to Flamedramon to fight Meramon. Next, Hawkmon armordigivolves to Halsemon. He too is ineffective. So Armadillomon armordigivolves to Digmon to attempt to defeat the Meramon. All of the digimon attempt to fight the Meramon. Meanwhile, the Digimon Emporer captures Greymon. But when Greymon digivolves to Skullgreymon, it turns out Ken can't control him and Skullgreymon goes and defeats the Meramon.
