Episode 37: Wizardmon's Gift
All of the kids are still being held captive at the convention center, and Tai and Agumon are looking for a way to get them out. They get inside the building, and find all the kids have been put to sleep. They meet up with Mimi and go off to look for the others. TK and Joe have found out that Kari is the eighth digidestined. All of the digidestined meet up together, and Wizardmon reveals the name of the eighth digidestined to them all. Myotismon is using Gatomon to lure the digidestined to the radio tower, which is Myotismon's temporary HQ. All of them run as fast as they can to go rescue Kari from Myotismon. They show up just in the nick of time to stop Myotismon from destroying both Kari and Gatomon. Kari gets her tag and crest, but only before Myotismon throws a harmful punch to Wizardmon. Just when things are looking grim, Tai shows up with Kari's digivice. Things start to get intense, and Myotismon is just about to destroy Kari, when Wizardmon stands in front of her and takes the fatal blow to himself. Wizardmon and Gatomon have a few last touching words before he dies, and then Kari uses her digivice to help Gatomon digivolve into Angewomon for the first time. Putting all the power into Angewomon, she uses her Celestial Arrow attack and destroys Myotismon. But has Myotismon been destroyed for good?
