Things I've Noticed
- The Trio doesn't work well with other animals.
Both Fish-Eye and Hawk-Eye call out members of the circus' massive ball family(Gum Mario and Elephanto) who appear with animals, Gum Mario with a seal and Elephanto with, well, an elephant. And both Amazons run into problems when they try to jump into their portals and leave: the seal bites Fish-Eye's foot and the elephant blocks Hawk-Eye's path.
Meanwhile, Fish-Eye, as we know, hates cats--Diana in particular, who keeps sniffing him. Of course, being the one with the most animal quirks out of all of them(and those awful hands...), it's not that surprising. Tiger-Eye even bitch slaps Artemis out of the way in one episode, but Artemis had attempted to maul Tiger-Eye's lovely features several times...
- The Trio never actually destroy dream mirrors.
Stretch 'em out a bit, rifle through 'em, get off on 'em, sure! But instead of smashing the mirror to make sure Pegasus can't hide there later, they announce that the target has to die(and it's usually a lemure who has to do it, but then those damn pumpkins always complicate things. While this could be the same thing--Mini-Moon froze up when Heavy Hanibiko(I think that's the right name. The shadow one) entered her dream and Serena went blank after her dream mirror was broken--still, the Trio does nothing to dream mirrors. Fish-Eye even freaks out when Serena's is destroyed.
This is interesting to me, because it's a bit out of tune with the rest of the circus' attitude. Nehelenia eats dream mirrors like they're M&M's, the Quartet encourages lemures to snack on dream mirrors(hey, if it ain't a gold mirror, it's no good!), and who knows about crazy old Zirconia--the only mirror she extracted in front of us was the one they were looking for. The Trio's lemures don't even have a chance to go after mirrors--they're only called when the scouts appear and when the Trio leave, the target's mirror goes back inside his/her body.
