"Eternal Dreams"

Cute season my ass...

Once again we see Serena come up to Fish-Eye...although this time, we also see that Zircon's been watching.

Anyway, a sodden Fish-Eye ends up in a nightgown at Serena's house, still moping and wondering why Serena's being so nice to him. Serena, meanwhile, tries to make idle conversation and, thankfully, doesn't get any answers.("How old are you?" "Well, I'm really a fish, so probably about 3 or 4 days...") Fish-Eye then brings up Darien, naturally pissing off Serena, who starts to wonder if Fish-Eye was sitting in the rain all alone because of Darien. Serena also demands that Fish-Eye answer some of her questions. Fish-Eye replies that Serena is a happy person and he envies her.

Flashback to the Amazon Trio finding out what they really are.

Fish-Eye is brought back to the present by Serena offering him tea. He then asks what Serena's dreams are. Serena asks Fish what kind of rival he is if he can't figure it out. Both look at picture of Darien and Serena, and Fish-Eye makes the mistake of saying that Darien always smiles brightly when he's with her. That's a mistake because it's best never to mention Darien when you've made it clear that you're trying to sleep with him...

Serena says Fish-Eye should stop acting like he knows Darien well and to stop seeing him. She's also savvy enough to add that the only good thing about Fish-Eye is his taste in boys. And while Fish-Eye prides himself on his taste in boys, this wasn't the brightest thing to say since Sailor Moon said the exact same thing quite recently.

Cover blown or not, Serena would probably end up strangling Fish-Eye if her mom hadn't asked her to run some errands. But before heading off to do random errands, Serena lets Fish-Eye know that they're going to make certain things clear when she gets back...

Things go awry as Fish-Eye, hearing a noise after contemplating the fact that he has no dreams, losing a hunkasaurus to Sailor Moon and her dreams of steel etc, follows Rini up to yamhead's little place in the attic. And what is Rini doing in her makeshift bedroom? Why, she has something to ask Pegasus! Fish-Eye naturally sees Pegasus sitting in his little Pedophilia/Bestiality globe on Rini's nightstand and remembers that with the golden crystal, the Amazon Trio can be human forever.

Naturally, when Serena comes home, her mom asks if she's seen Rini. Serena says Rini's probably in her room...but then finds that the strange blue haired girl with a thing for Darien is missing...

The blue haired "girl" is back at the Dead Moon Circus, getting grilled by Zirconia. Zirconia asks if Fish-Eye knows who the holder of Pegasus is. Fish-Eye, ever obediant, wants to know if the golden crystal will make them real boys, complete with beautiful dreams and everything, before he's saying anything about Pegasus. (It's interesting that scaly hands Fish-Eye says that the pointy eared Trio look like real humans.)

Zirconia uses his/her Jedi powers to give Fish-Eye some nasty chest pains. Tiger's-Eye asks Zirconia to stop(in a pretty snippy tone in English, actually...you have to admire a guy who'll snap, "What're you doing?" while his employer is quite happily crushing the life out of someone...)and catches Fish-Eye before he hits the floor. Zirconia stops and tells Fish-Eye that he's a dumb animal who's easily replaced. Zirconia also adds that he's not going to tolerate any more outbursts.("Back in my day, we didn't speak unless spoken to!") Hawk's-Eye wonders if Fish-Eye might be right about this whole thing.

Zirconia then tells Zircon it's the only non-moron in the damn circus. Zircon happily nods/bounces up and down, and shows a nice movie of Fish-Eye in drag making friends with Serena.

From this, Zirconia concludes that if Fish-Eye says he found Pegasus and this human was one of the last people Fish-Eye talked to, then this human clearly has Pegasus! Fish-Eye says that Zirconia's wrong, but Zirconia ignores this out burst and tells Hawk's-Eye to go get Pegasus unless he wants to be a bird.(Tick tock, tick tock!)

S/he also whips out the magic ball that has the spell on the Trio in it and hands it to Hawk's-Eye. Fish-Eye tells Hawk's-Eye she's the wrong girl, but is ignored.

Tiger's-Eye is then told to watch Fish-Eye. Tiger's-Eye starts to help Fish up, but is told that Fish-Eye can stand up all by himself--and knock Tiger's-Eye to the ground and chase after Hawk-Eye. Causing Tiger-Eye to chase after Fish-Eye.

Zirconia is naturally pleased as punch that the easily replaceable Trio are all headed towards the same place...so, s/he looks up at those mysterious giggling shadows(remember them from 148?) and tells them to get rid of the Trio. A blue ball drops down, rolls into a party hat(where the hell did that come from?), and fades away.

Meanwhile, Serena and her friends are trying to hunt down Rini. Serena finds herself preoccupied with the blue haired stranger who went after her man and finds it hard to focus on finding her future daughter. After Raye bitches Serena out again, Lita suggests they split up.

This leaves Serena quite conveniently alone for Hawk's-Eye to approach her. And boy is he ever suave! "I know, I know, I'm not your type" is such a great pick up line! Before Serena can figure out who this nut case is...finger snap, curtain, one, two, three--just in time for Fish and Tiger to appear!

Tiger's-Eye manages to hold Fish-Eye back, but Fish-Eye still yells at Hawk's-Eye not to look in Sailor Moon's dream. This, of course, only encourages Hawk's-Eye to want to look at Serena's dreams all the more. He's stopped by a lemure and sent flying by said lemure's powerful ass.

The lemure introduces himself as Mr. Magic Pierrot. He looks in Serena's dream, but there's no Pegasus. The Trio asks what he thinks he's doing here and Clown Pants replies that Zirconia sent him here to take care of the garbage. Yes, the garbage! Then he shows the Trio one of his best tricks: he can shoot deadly spades out of his stupid little hat. The Trio dodges the spades, one of which turns around and ends up shattering Serena's dream mirror. The restraints holding her fade out and she falls to the ground, her eyes blank.

Fish-Eye who's shocked, appalled and other such emotions by the destruction of Serena's dream mirror, gets distracted by a flashback to the previous episode and notices a spade heading straight for him a bit too late. Hawk's-Eye jumps in front of him and takes the blow.

Pierrot gleefully announces that he's taken care of one piece of garbage. Hawk's-Eye breathes fire at him, Mr. Magic Pierrot's hat happily eats the fire. Hawk's-Eye then faints and is caught by Tiger's-Eye(who seems to be doing this a lot in this episode)

When questioned by Fish-Eye as to why he sacrificed himself, Hawk-Eye replies that he knew they were all doomed from the beginning and that's why he was never very pumped about their mission. But, having heard it was possible for them to become truly human, he wanted to find Pegasus for all of them. He gives Fish-Eye the ball with the spell in it and dies.

Fish-Eye and Tiger's-Eye are naturally mad as all hell and unleash their wrath on Pierrot...who turns Fish's knives into little butterflies and Tiger's whip into a snake. Pierrot taunts them by saying it's such a shame that they got a taste of being human but now have to go back to their original state.

This leaves Fish-Eye and Tiger's-Eye with a question of what to do next. Fish-Eye tells Tiger's-Eye that he does have Pegasus' host and that Sailor Moon is the only chance they have to defeat Pierrot. So they should use the ball, get revenge for Hawk's-Eye, and become human. Tiger's-Eye asks if Sailor Moon is strong enough to beat the stupid clown, and Fish-Eye says he knows she is. Tiger's-Eye takes the ball and says it's time to present the clown with the Amazon Trio's grand finale and tells Fish that if they're lucky enough to be reborn, he hopes that they'll be completely human. Pierrot asks if they're done with their good-byes, and is told he hasn't seen anything yet. Fish-Eye pulls Rini out of mystical storage and defreezes her. Tiger's-Eye casts the spell, asking the orb to grant all their wishes.

Serena's dream mirror is restored. She and Rini, both a little out of it, hug and try to figure out what's going on. Fish-Eye yells at them to transform, then he and Tiger's-Eye collapse. Pierrot accuses the Amazons of helping the enemy and this is exactly why they're being put out with the trash!

Glittery transformation sequence...but Pierrot isn't worried because he has a few aces up his sleeve(ha ha...)and the other scouts show up. Too late to keep anyone from dying, but just in time to give Moon and Mini-Moon a chance to call Pegasus. Which they do. Pierrot's skanky bubble butt is Moon Gorgeous Meditationed to lemure hell. The blue ball rolls away and disappears.

Which leaves the scouts with the problem of the one dead man and two dying men lying on the ground. Sailor Moon asks Fish-Eye why he saved their. Fish-Eye looks at her and says that he envies her beautiful dreams and calls her Serena. Serena is amazed to find out that Fish-Eye, a blue haired girl in the dub, is the blue haired girl who was her rival(can anyone recognize anyone else?)

Having said this, Fish-Eye dies...or, if he doesn't, he'll be dead soon enough because all of the Trio revert to their original forms and fish don't do too well outside of water.

Pegasus, who's still hanging around, revives the Trio. They change back to their humanoid shapes and rise off the ground. A dream mirror comes out of all of their chests. Shortly after, they all turn into little glowing balls of light that sink into the dream mirrors.

Pegasus then gives a speech about the importance of dreams and goals in English, then says that these three "dreamy ones" won't bother the scouts anymore.(In Japanese, he tells the senshi that everyone with a dream will be saved, even the Amazon Trio.)

Back at the circus, the blue ball returns to one of the giggling shadows. Zirconia tells them that it's their turn at bat...

The episode ends with Pegasus and the little sprite versions of the Trio in Elysion. Pegasus tells the Trio that they can stay in the forest and that, although it's dark now, someday it will be light again.
