"Capture the Pegasus! The Amazon's Trap!" or "Tiger's-Eye's Ego Gets the Crap Beaten Out of It"
At the circus no one notices, Zirconia interrupts another fun fest of juggling to bitch out the Amazon Trio. Not once, not twice, but thrice they've seen Pegasus but haven't been able to find his actual whereabouts. Hawk's-Eye steps forward and says those were just trial runs and once the three of them get down to business, they'll easier get Pegasus. Tiger's-Eye and Fish-Eye both give him fairly dirty looks(the greatest taboo that the Amazon Trio cannot break is never promise Zirconia anything) Back at the bar, Hawk's-Eye asks if Tiger's-Eye has found the next target. Tiger's-Eye says it might be everyone's favorite victim, Molly. Hawk's-Eye says she looks boring. Tiger's-Eye snaps at him and is asked why he's so angry. Tiger's-Eye bitches out Hawk's-Eye for promising Zirconia that they'd get Pegasus. In English, Fish-Eye tells him to chill out. In Japanese, Fish-Eye agress with Tiger's-Eye("My heart skipped a beat when you said that...") Hawk's-Eye reassures them that he's still got a "trump card up his sleeves." This naturally confuses Tiger's-Eye and Fish-Eye since Hawk's-Eye barely has a shirt. And while Molly thinks that the strange blond boy is hot, she is immediatly distracted when the tardy Melvin appears and heads off with him without giving Tiger-Eye a second thought. Fish-Eye and Hawk-Eye spit booze all across the bar when they hear this one, then burst out laughing. Tiger-Eye is naturally not amused. He concludes that any girl who didn't see his beauty can't possibly have Pegasus. Hawk's-Eye says she can be used as bait. Fish-Eye remembers the trump card up Hawk's-Eye's non-existant sleeves(or "sure tactic" in the original) Hawk's-Eye asks if Fish wants to see it. Fish says s/he's not interested(I find it interesting that in the dub, s/he calls him "darling.") And so, we get to see the great plan. Tiger's-Eye and Fish-Eye look like they're up shit's creek without a paddle, but Hawk's-Eye assures them that it's not just an ordinary cage! It's got negative energy running through it! This has absolutely nothing to do with the episode, but I just want to point out that Hawk's-Eye has amazing man cleavage while he's explaining this plan. And abs you could bounce a quarter off of. While stalking Molly, Tiger-Eye takes some time to peruse quality reading material. Maybe he grabbed the first book he saw, but my sister and I both decided that, while we may not know what "Cherry Boys" is about, we both have a feeling it would involve young, nubile boys. And very few girls.(Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just not what one would expect a ladies' man to be reading...) But while indulging in fine literature, Tiger-Eye learns that Molly wants to be a nurse. And what better way to score with a nurse than by telling her you have three months to live? And that your dying wish is to go out with her? Molly goes to the shrine to talk this over with Serena and the girls...well, to tell them that she said she'd go out with the mysterious dying man. Mina naturally wonders what's going to happen with Melvin...and Rini says that romance and sordid affairs are hella tight! Molly runs off and the girls decide to follow her. Molly's on a bridge, thinking about what to say to Melvin when he runs up. Melvin wins the doormat of the year award by telling Molly that's she kind and to be the invalid, then runs off. After talking with Molly, the girls decide it's time to spy on Melvin. Rini discovers him in the midst of a massive milkshake binge. Elsewhere, Tiger's-Eye finds Molly on a park bench and starts hitting on her. Molly reminds him that she has a boyfriend. Tiger-Eye, ever sympathetic, doesn't see why that matters. Molly continues, saying how much Melvin means to her. So, Tiger's-Eye reminds her that he'll be dead soon enough and suggests they do something more fun--like make out! Molly shows him away. Tiger's-Eye, now officially the wussiest of the Amazon Trio for being thrown several feet by Molly, official punching bag of everyone, decides it's time for the old 1,2,3. Fortunately, Luna was spying on them and runs to get Serena and Rini. Transformation sequence, peek in the dream mirror with lots of girlish giggling(I'd hate to hear how Tiger's-Eye sounds in bed, I really would...) Today's lemure/remliss juggler...someone. The ever brilliant Moon and Mini-Moon don't want to juggle all the knives...yeah, girls, she doesn't want you to juggle... |
