Story Summary
Kiki's Delivery Service is a story about a 13 year old witch in training named Kiki. She's lived with her mom and dad all her life, but once she turned 13 she's able to go out and find a town to live in to discover her talents. Kiki leaves home with her black cat Jiji and finds a beautiful town by the ocean to stay in. She has a little trouble at first, but then finds a nice couple who own a bakery that give her a room to stay in as long as she helps out with the work. Kiki decides it's a good idea to start a delivery service since her only skill is flying on her broom. Kiki makes new friends and struggles through growing up as a witch. After a while she loses her ability to fly and her cat Jiji won't talk to her anymore. Kiki panics and doesn't understand why she's losing her magic. She takes some time off to try and understand why she's losing her magic, and in the end, well, you'll just have to see it for yourself!

My Opinion
I first saw this movie on the Disney channel and recorded it. I thought it was a very cute movie and the characters are so lovable. Kiki and Jiji are a funny pair, which I really enjoyed. The animation is great and so life-like. The setting is also beautiful, like an ocean-side English town or something. This is a great movie for young children, but I enjoy it a lot too! This is such a great story, I don't know how I ever ignored it when it first came out on video!
