The Story

This is based off of the OAV series, the 13-episode release, NOT the TV series.

15 years have passed since Parn and companions defeated the minions of the Goddess of Destruction, Kardis, and saved Lodoss from being destroyed. With Marmo’ s leaders all dead, peace returned.

This would not last, a great knight in Marmo’ s army, Saymael, appeared as if from a horrible dream. Reinitiating his predecessors’ dream of a conquered Lodoss, the Cursed Island was once again threatened by war.

In the first years of the new war, the hero, Parn, led many successful battles against Saymael, and his Marmo hordes. However, on the eve of the sixth year, Saymael bested Parn in single combat. Afraid and ashamed, Parn vanished without a trace, and has not been seen since.

The King of Valis, Etoh, has issued a decree to all able-bodied fighters and mercenaries to enlist in the military of Valis. Anyone strong enough to lift a sword and to wield it in the name of freedom, come to Valis, and become a Warrior of Lodoss.

And so it begins.
