 History of Sailor Moon 
 As the show starts off a young girl, Usagi Tsukino, learns that she is Sailor Moon and is destined to lead the Sailor Scouts. Then she later learns that she is also the Moon Princess; and holds the deity to the Silver Crystal. With its unfathomable power, and The Sailor Scouts by her side, she defeats the queen of the Negaverse, Beryl.

Usagi and her scouts; Raye Hino as Sailor Mars, Ami Muzino as Sailor Mercury, Makoto Kino as Sailor Jupiter, Minako Aino as Sailor Venus, think that their job is done and go back to being regular teens. 

 Unfortunately, the arrival of "Alan" and "Ann" along with the Doom Tree starts up trouble once again. Summoning their evil cardians Alan and Ann hope to gain life energy for the Doom Tree by stealing energy from humans. Luna and Artamis quickly reunite the Sailor Scouts. They are quick to respond. They learn that the Doom Tree is good, but has been too weak to stop Alan and Ann. Sailor Moon heals the Doom Tree, and sets if free to live and grow once again.

Released only in Japan, and later made with English subtitles Sailor Moon R, S, and Super S became very popular movies.

Promise of the Rose

This movie starts off as a friend from Tuxedo Mask's past returns. We learn that this old friend has returned to keep his promise. He has been possessed and given powers by a deadly Kiseian Flower. He has a confrontation with the Sailor Scouts, and Tuxedo Mask is injured as he takes an energy blast that was meant for Usagi. Tuxedo Mask's friend takes him to his asteroid base, where he attempts to heal him. The Sailor Scouts use their Planet Power to teleport themselves to the asteroid to rescue Tuxedo Mask. They then engage in a duel and kill the flower. The duel leaves them stranded on the asteroid without enough strength to teleport back. As they are hurling toward Earth, Sailor Moon attempts to uses the awesome power of the crystal to change their course, but is not strong enough.  The Sailor Scouts concentrate all of their powers to to aid Sailor Moon, and they are successful in detouring the asteroid, and Tuxedo Mask is saved.
