OKAY! Since i am now listed on the wonderful Kouji Lover's Shrine, i shall give you a much more complete history of Rei Rei!
OK, we learn all about her in the graphic novel,
Kouji was saved by the leader of the Mt. Reikaku Bandits when he was wandering through the woods and was attacked by wolves(his family died in a plauge so he had no where to go) so the leader let Kouji join the bandits. As a new memeber of the bandits you gotta do all the chores; dishes, clothes, etc. And then one day They brought him to the leader and the leader was quite impressed with his speed. to make a long story short, he named Genrou(genrou of course, which means "phantasm wolf") and he was the newbie of the bandits. The leader told the two boys(genrou 15. kouji 17) that they were the only two bandits that were qualified to take over for him as leader. So, to prove that they were good enough to take over as leader, the leader assigened them a "contest" they had to go over to the neighboring mountian and steal the leader of that mountian's "treasure". It originally started off as a race, but they both decied to work together. They went seperate ways to get into that stronghold and both ended up being caught. the leader of that mountian, asked for genrou to be brought to him. (EVERYONE now having heard his famous line "i hate women" but they didn't know that there was more to that phrase) Genrou came into the room (it was all covered in gold, way too flashy for my taste) and strapped Genrou down to the bed. Genrou was quite tied up, if it wasn't for that he would have defitly put up more of a fight! That (very ugly) leader began molseting Genrou saying that he knew that Genrou didn't like women. quite and angering scene for genrou fans! gross old man get your hands off Tasuki-kun! but Genrou did get out of that guy's hold saying, "i hate women, but i hate men even MORE!" more chaos, and genrou and Kouji figure out that Rei Rei, the leader's little sister, is the treasure that they've been looking for. The leader there is really protective of his sister. they get her back to the mt. reikaku stronghold, and she stays in the room with Genrou, ("he's no danger to her, he hates women!") previously there had been so Genrou tries to set Rei Rei up with Kouji a few times but to no avail. Rei Rei, A battle breaks out on Mt. Reikaku, between the two rival groups of bandits, The leader brings Kouji and Genrou in, tells them he is going to die soon, The demon (who can change form) That is all of the story i know, because i havent found it fully translated yet, there are two more pictures, that i do not know what is happeing in,
"Genrou's Den" where we are also introduced the the almighty and endlessly sexy Genrou and Kouji! You need to talk about them first to get more out of ReiRei's story so here we go-a cute little 15 year old boy ran away from home(who we all know and love as Tasuki!) He was found by a group of bandits who CLAIMED to be the bandits of Mt. Reikaku (but were actually a rival group of bandits from a neighboring mountian) The Leader of Mt. Reikaku was out protecting the mountian as he always does and came across these bandits who were giving his mountian a bad name. They had stolen many of genrou's belongings, and some of his clothes and were tourturing the poor boy(**sniff** leave the cute kid alone ya a$$holes!!) The leader, being the super cool guy that he is, saves genrou and tells him to go home. Genrou didn't want to and then ran up one of the "animal trails" (which are longer and more difficult to climb than the people trails) and arrived there before the leader did, and was promptly taken captive. Kouji was given Genrou as a roommate, and was jealous of his cool name and jealous that he still had a family. They wern't very good friends at first. (Much beating up of Genrou by Kouji)He also told the story behind Genrou's "mark" and how he would have to go and protect the suzaku no miko later on. Genrou said that he would never leave the bandits(but we all know what eventually happened)The bandits escape and kidnap Rei Rei, by the way Rei Rei hates the bandits there so she helps Genrou and Kouji kidnap her. (showing them secret passages and stuff. They ask her why she's helping them and she says "Iv'e always wanted to be kidnapped!" The girl knows a couple of good looking bandits when she sees em! (truly a girl after my own heart!)this flower selling lady that Kouji helped out and the older brother of Hotohori fell in love with her and took her back to the palace. Rei Rei falls in love with Genrou, and Kouji falls in love with Rei Rei. Genrou doesn't like girls, and we all know Kouji's prefenence! ;PRei Rei starts to fight with the bandits and always follows genrou and Kouji around when they patroll the mountian. She's a pretty good fighter, and she has this cool hairpin that extends into a staff, that she fights with. The leader of Mt. Reikaku finds out that the monster which once owned the tessen has escaped, and wants the tessen back and will do anything to get it back too! The tessen dissapears, being stolen by Rei Rei's older brother-he wants to exchange one treasure for another. after talking to Genrou, figures out that he wants to stay at the bandit stronghold, and if he gets the tessen he will stay there his whole life. They also are letting Rei Rei join them as a bandit. Rei Rei loves this idea, if they get the tessen, and she stays she gets to spend the rest of her life with Genrou. Rei Rei fighting alonside the Mt. Reikaku bandits of course, in disguise. The gross leader hits on Genrou and they also find out that the other leader does NOT have the tessen like he said he would. the Leader of mt. Reikaku is injured in battle, both sides retreat. and tells the the story behind the tessen, and begins telling them the spell needed to use it, they find out that Rei Rei has gone to get the tessen for them (for genrou) and they run to stop her, it being too dangerous, but they dont get the rest of the spell, but one of the other bandits (a corrupt one) overhears most of the spell. Genrou and Kouji go to find Rei Rei. disguised himself as Genrou (it was originaly disgused as the flower selling lady-and used it's powers to crate havok in the palace) and told the brother of Rei Rei (in Genrou form) that if he was given the tessen, that the creepy leader guy could do with his body what ever he wanted. Rei Rei figures out that this is not genrou ("Wait a second, Genrou doesn't smell good, he's an imposter!") and she grabs the tessen. She is attacked by the demon and is hit, but she still runs for the window, and escapes, planning to get the tessen back to the real Genrou. He finds her and she is bleeding severly, she gives him the tessen,very sad scene and dies in Genrou's arms.this one is first and lastly this one.
