This page is for one of my favorite things in life. My bull terriers,Rachel and Blanche. They are my hobby, my friends, my family, not to mention my decorating inspiration.
Bull terriers are what I call a high maintenance breed. They require special food, shampoo, laundry soap etc for their sensitive skin. They also require constant supervision, monitoring, and a lot of their owners time, energy, money, love, and dedication. They are only for the most conscientious dedicated pet owner.
Bull terriers are full of personality. They are fun, funny, silly, mischievious, bratty, independent, and smart.
RACHEL
My first (VERY memorable) glimpse of a bull terrier was a little white bully named Emily(?), at a Detroit area obedience class I was in with my great dane in the 1980s. I was raised with and around great danes my whole life.

The memory of how absolutely adorable that bully was led me to get my RACHEL. I got so enthused with Rachel, I decided I wanted to start going to shows. Rachel didn't like conformation, and wasn't really an appropriate example of the breed anyways, so after trying it for awhile I spayed her and started obedience training her. We have been training for about 2 1/2 years, a mix of obedience, and agility classes. I am very proud to say she earned her CGC(canine good citizen ) title at our first Silverwood, 2001!!!
Rachel is loving , gentle , good hearted , and a true gift from God. I cherish every single moment of every day spent with her. She is affectionate, and very humanlike in her personality and actions. She is extremely bonded with and devoted to me. She is with me constantly, sleeps under the covers every night, has great character and makes me laugh, and is very responsive to me. I am so lucky to have ever found such a great friend to share my life.
BLANCHE
The picture says it all. Blanchey is my little spoiled princess that has my heart wrapped around her little paw. She is very chunky, solid, rough, and cute. She has a very sweet heart. People are her joy in life. She is extremely outgoing, wiggling, flashing her eyes, grinning with her huge muzzle, making groany talking noises. She is irresistabull to me. I am nuts over her. Blanche is very busy, and it is quite a challenge trying to outsmart and predict what mischief she will do next. Opening doors/drawers is just one of her many talents. She is everything Rachel is not. They are perfect complements, and friends. They lay together, play, lick each others muzzles and mouths. She earned her Canine Good Citizen title from the AKC at Silverwwod 2001 too!!! What a girl!
