Photoshop Terms

Channel Mixer: Mixes in different colors into the picture.

Filters: Changes the look of the image through a variety of choices.

Hue: Changes the shade of the color in the image.

Inverse: [Lasso, rectangle tools:] Selects the area that was not selected by the tool. [Color:] Changes all of the colors to its complimentary color (eg: white to black, red to green).

Liquify: Makes your image look like its in a pool of water.

Merge Layers/Merge Visible/Flatten Images:  Combines all the layers into one layer.

Opacity: Changes the transparency of the selected layer. 100% opacity means it will show the full color. 0% means it is completely transparent.

Saturation: Changes whether the image should be more gray, black, or white.

Threshold: Makes the images black and white (based on the color), and adjusts of how dark or light the lines and colors are.
