Post-Interview Thoughts (9/2/2006): I remember this site very vividly. I was looking for Fanfiction to add to my site, and I stumbled across this one. It wasn't the layout that made me stay. It was the fanfics that made me read on and on, until I read most of them. So, in the end, even though it was a tiny site, I am glad to had interviewed Rayne. -Jade
Gold Star Interviewing:
1) Why did you start Writers' Unblocked?
I started Writer's Unblocked because I wanted to have a place where I can share my fics, and stretch some creative muscle. Initially, I had a site called 'Dragon's Fyre' on geocities, but when I started to focus on fics for other shows like Voltron and Jonny Quest, I decided that I needed a different site...and I thought Angelfire was a cool name. =P

2) Were you the founder?
 Yes, I was.

3) Who did the layout?
Me and my poor overused brain.

4) Do you have staff members who helped you?
No.

5) Who helped you with the website?
I would ask people on mailing lists I was on for some coding tips, but for the most part, I just looked at html sites.

6) When and why did you get into writing?
I was about 12 or 13 when I started writing various scenes for the Voltron series that satisfied my need to see the story continue. Then when I started watching Dragonball, I went online to learn more about the characters and the story which was when I discovered Trunks. You know what happened after that...

7) How long after you got into DBZ did you start the website?
I started Writer Unblocked two or more years after I got into DBZ.

8) Are the anime pictures your own, or are they captured by someone/you from the site?
They're borrowed from other webmasters who were kind enough to share their pics with me.

9) How long has the site been up?
More than two years.

10) How long did it take for you to get the site up?
A week or so. I worked like a madwoman.

11) What's your all time favorite anime? Weird enough as it is, some all-on-one anime webmasters like the different anime that's not related to their site. **eeek!** Weird?!
My favorite anime of all time would be Dragonball Z.

12) Who's your favorite anime character?
Trunks...in any incarnation

13) If you were to be in your favorite anime character's shoes, would you still had started the site?
LOL....a site with fics about myself? Trunks doesn't strike me as a narcissistic person.

14) How much time do you put into your website?
Hmm...not much really. At this point, I just upload stories and put up links to them.

15) Do you have representatives for oyur site, because if you do, I'd like to meet them....and if you do have representatives, what are they like?
No, I don't. It's just little ol' me.

16) What's your favorite thing to do when you're not updating your site and you're online?
I like to read fics.

17) When did you start the site?
Late '97 or early '98. I don't remember exactly.

18) Where's your main source for your site?
I did so much websurfing to get information that I couldn't tell you what my main source was.

19) Who's your favorite DBZ character?
Trunks. He's such a cutie. =)

color?! OH! And it's a tough one! Will she answer it?! ::gasp::
I'll answer it alright. ;) I love the color blue.
