Happy Buffy Ranch was founded on September 1, 2000 by Axel and Pamela Heye. The Ranch is a 210 acre Bison Ranch, located in Witter, Arkansas (in the heart of the beautiful Ozark Mountains). Currently we have 27 beautiful Buffalo and calves. We will be making many improvements on the ranch as well. Our home overlooks the land and the Buffalo roaming on the range. Our dream is to help repopulate the world with this beautiful creature. Our goal is to one day have a resort, so that others can experience the same wonder as we do, as well as provide a history on the Bison/Buffalo as it were years ago. Our Buffalos are fed all natural, hay, grain, and minerals. We DO NOT use Hormones, Stimulants, Antiabotics or feed with Eurea. The reason Happy Buffy Ranch is called as such is because we want our Bison to be as happy and feel as free as they possibly can. Although, in the first couple of weeks we kept them in a 2 acre pen. After which we released them onto the 210 acres, this is done so that we could ensure their health and safety.
